    Silverkit

Silverkit snuggled with her mother, her silver fur dull with sleep. As she slept something fell into the den, sliding down the leaves and getting closer. All of a sudden, Plop!, A silver raindrop landed on the end of her nose. "Wha- What the?" She said lifting her head and inhaling sharply, only causing her to spread into a sneezing fit. Ah-AH-AH-Choo! Ha-Choo!. She sniffled looking around her surroundings, seeing the sun pooling in through the leaves and by the brightness of it, the sun had come up a few hours ago. She sat up and started to groom her dull silver pelt until it started to shine. Once she was done she looked around her blue gaze searching for something to do. As she looked around she flicked her long furred tail around and placed it neatly over her silver little paws, her little ears looking flicking around, as she turned her little head searching for somebody to talk to.

The small silver kit was grinning for no apparent reason, apparently forgetting her rude awaking. Now that she was semi awake, her silver pelt shone except for the little white speck on her chest, that sparkled in the sunlight. She yawned massively, her eyes closing as she did so. Then she looked around again, and thought she saw some movement out of the corner of her eye. "Hello?" She called out softly, her high voice ringing in the stillness of the morn.

  • A small, slender shape poked out of the nursery. An elegant head, framed with softened triangles for ears, and a dark, chocolate and cream splashed tortoiseshell pelt. Eye glowed dark amber, and whiskers twitched in the moonlight. Out slipped a pretty she-kit, her pelt glistening with moonlight. Then, she noticed the she-kit across from her.
"Hello?" She mewled, padding over. "Who are you?" Her voice was rather guarded.

    Silverkit

She looked around at the sound of another cat's voice, and saw to her delight, another She-kit. She smiled at the other kit, her blue eyes shining warmly in the semi-sunlight. "Hello!" She said warmly completely ignoring the guarded tone of the other kit, "I'm Silverkit! What might your name be?" She asked in a 'royal' tone. She liked big words and sounding older than she was, but by her small size no matter how big and cool sounding her sentences, she always tended to seem young and 'feeble'. Despite these thoughts running through her head she smiled warmly at the other kit, and radiated kit happiness.

  • "They call me Bitterkit." The tortoiseshell meowed. She knew it wasn't a fantastic name, but then again, she wasn't a very fantastic kit. I'd rather be named Bitterkit than Silverkit. She thought dully, looking dryly at the kit's shining face.

  • Sapkit
Sapkit turned her head to where the talking was coming from. Sapkit squinted her eyes, trying to avoid the sun rays. She flicked her torbie coloured paw, "Can you please talk quieter? I am trying to get some rest!" Sapkit just recovered from a fever. Dappletail, Sapkit's mother lapped at Sapkit's fur. Sapkit tried sleeping again. Her mother's gray tail layed gently on top of her. There's no where to get peace and quiet! Sapkit stuck her paws in her ears, she was fed up with the mewling. Dappletail continued to lick Sapkit's fur torbie fur, she slicked it down, plastering it to her body. Dappletail yawned, revealing a crooked tooth, Dappletail shook her head, she still felt a bit dizzy from yesterday. Sapkit snuggled closer to her mother's warm, milky, fur.

  • Sapkit
Sapkit curled into a small ball. She felt the wind tug at her fur. Her mother tugged Sapkit closer to her belly. Sapkit expanded her body feeling warmth. The wind died down and all that came was a warm breeze. Dappletail closed her eyes. Sapkit still could not sleep, she tried thinking of yummy prey. She shifted in the moss. Sapkit rolled and tussled about. Sapkit just couldn't I back to sleep. She mewed in frustration. Dappletail snored, Your snoring isn't helping me! She thought rudely in her mind. Sapkit clawed some moss until it was shredded into small bits. She churned the moss with her tail, her tail moved in a patern, back and forth. "Hey..um what are you guys doing?" Said Sapkit, the tone of her voice was desperate. The wind started to build up.

    Silverkit

"Bitterkit thats a ni-" She was cut off by another kit's voice telling her to be quiet. "Sorry!" She said, her little eyes wide in apology. Then in a hushed voice she continued, "Thats a nice name, I like my name though, it just describes my fur, not me in any way, so if a cat comes up and asks me my name i can say silverkit, and they wont know a thing about me!" She chatted in her normal bla bla bla way. She looked over at Sapkit, who was rustling in her nest and wondered briefly if her talking had completely ruined the other kit's sleep. She looked back to Bitterkit, her blue eyes troubled, but then she heard Sapkit call out again. "Nothing really, just chattin!" she pipped up at Sapkit's question once again looking at the torbie kit.

  • This she-kit has plenty of energy. Bitterkit thought. Her golden-amber eyes glittered at the irritated kit in the dark of the nursery, trying to get sleep. Who can sleep at a time like this? Bitterkit thought, well, bitterly. All she could seem to think about was her mother and father. And Crowpaw, that mange-ridden charcoal tom who forced her mother. Surely she wasn't his daughter, was she? One of her siblings had his black pelt. That made her shiver. Her father was from Riverclan, so Bitterkit was half-clan. Something that was generally frowned upon. But in this messed up world, she could at least have... "assurance" that there were others with lineage more complicated and messier than hers.

  • Sapkit crawled over her mother'd flank. "Can I talk with you guys!" She piped. Dappletail rolled on her other side. Firewisp slithered in the den. "I brought you prey, Sapkit!" Sapkit bounced away from the group of kits. "Thanks!" She sniffed the limp body. "What is it?" Firewisp purred. "I thought you might ask that question." He layed the prey down. "It's a mouse." Sapkit heard of mouse before. "Can I touch it?" Dhe tilting her head left. Dappletail awoke, "Firewisp!" She got up and touched her nose to his. Firewisp purred, twinning his tail with Dappletail. "I brought Sapkit some prey." He mewed with pride. "Oh, Sapkit won't be eating tell those teeth of hers get bigger." Sapkit felt affended by her mother's comment. Dappletail purred, "But she'll get bigger, someday." Sapkit touched the mouse, it felt warm. "I should be going." He gave a last lick in Dappletail's cheek. Dappletail took the mouse and ate it. That was mine! She thought rudely. Sapkit yawned now feeling a bit tired.

  • Larkkit was sitting silently in a corner, sniffling. She had once been a kittypet, and she was a runt, much to the other kits' delight. It gave them so many things to tease her about. Now, she had no friends. Every other kits teased her and it stunk. They were all just stupid mousebrains, the lot of them. Larkkit blinked back tears as a group of kits passed, one yowling, "Hey! What's your name again? Ooohhh, yeah! I remember! It's Kittypetruntkit! All the worst things put together in one name! It's amazing! And what's the cat that cab be named that? Let me think...oh, yeah! You! All of the kits giggled and bounded away. Even though what they were saying was kinda lame, it was still hurtful.

  • Sapkit looked at the kits who teased her. She stomped up to them. "Hey, why don't you call me Lonerkit! My mother was a loner and I was born in a twoleg dump!" She clawed the earthly ground, "Go on!" She bared her small teeth at them. Her tail swished back and forth. "Your just a bunch of, of fox-dung kits!" She growled. "Yeah! That's all you are!" Sapkit made a deep growl from her chest. "Stupid, kits!"

  • Larkkit watched Sapkit yell at the other kits. Their ears flattened in fright and they slunk farther away. Larkkit almost giggled as she watched them slink away. For some reason, she hadn't really thought of them as real cats, and was kind of surprised to see how easily they scared. "Thank you," she murmured softly. "For standing up to them."

  • Sapkit turned her head to the kit. "It's ok! Hey, you wanna be friends?!" She batted at Larkkit's ear playfully. "I wasn't joking about the loner thing..." She mewed quietly.

Firewhisp walked back in the den. "Sapkit, can I speak with you?" Sapkit flattened her ears. Had he heard about the kits?

Firewisp led Sapkit out the entrance. "Sapkit, I heard some kits crying to there parents that you did something." Sapkit twitched her ear.

"Who me?" She said enthusiastically. Firewisp gave her 'one' of the hard stares. "Fine, it was me! But they were making fun of a kit!"

Firewisp shook his head. "Fine, go back to the nursery." Sapkit padded into the den.

    Silverkit

She bounded over to Larkkit her eyes full of worries, "What a bunch of meanies!!" She said her voice full of little anger, "There is NOTHING wrong with being a runt!" She squeaked her little silver full puffed up twice her size, which was still tiny. This was the thing that disturbed her the most, she wasn't a runt, but she was tiny that you could concider her one. Her icy blue eyes were the size of moons, and her small tail stood up high, as she ran in small circles around Larkkit. She didn't hear what happened outside, but she saw Sapkit's sad look and ran over, "AND There is nothing wrong with being an ex-kittypet, or an ex-loner, Or have- have- hearing problems or anything." She skidded to a halt.. her eyes like moons. "Oops..." She muttered under her breath. As far as she knew nobody knew about her problem, and in one fit she had let out the secret.

    OOC;

OOC; Sorry for being inactive, and also I will be inactive (again) due to exsams coming up. I probably wont be on all next week, but maybe some this weekend. It depends on how buisy I am.

  • Sapkit didn't ask about the hearing problem. "Lets go on a adventure!" She skidded out of the nursery. She stoped to a halt. She bumped into Hawkeye, "S-sorry." She murmured, Hawkeye ignored. Sapkit bounded off to the elders den.

"Eww!" The stench was awfull and horrid. She smelt rotten moss.

Snowpaw past by Sapkit. "Goo thing your not apprentices yet!" She joked.

Sapkit poked her head in the den, flea were covering the den! She put Er paws over her nose.

    Silverkit

She perked up at the idea of an adventure, and said, rather loudly, "Yea!! Lets go Lets go!!" She said, running in circles once again. She ran to the entraince, then stopped and looked back at the other kits, "Are you guys comeing?" She said, her tail tip quivering in exsitement. She kneaded her claws into a patch of moss, exsitement practically radiating from her.

  • Sapkit hid behind a log, waiting for her new friends. Her tail twitched with excitement. They'll never find me! A leaf landed on her nose. Uh..oh! The leaf itched her nose.

"Achoo!" She watched the leaf float away. Her beautiful torbie fur was fluffed up. She rubbed her nose, her nose was still itchy!

A red dot appeared on her nose. "Huh?" She rubbed her nose again. It was poison ivy! She ran to the medicine den. "Posion Ivy got on my nose!" The medicine cat turned around.

    Silverkit

Silverkit bounded out of the nursery, not able to wait for the others. She scampered this way and than, sniffing to figure out where Sapkit went. She first went to the Elder's den, because that is where she saw Sapkit go. Then she walked over to a patch of grass that had been trampled. Then after quite a bit of scampering around she found the log that Sapkit had been hiding in. She looked around, and saw a plant not very far away. It had a bright red stem, and three jagged leaves. A poem her mother had once said to her floated through her mind... Leaves of three, Leave them be... She realized with a shock that it was Poison Ivy!! She looked around and guessed what had happened.

Silverkit raced back to the centre of camp, and got to the medicine cat's den. She heard the tail end of Sapkits proclamation as she came in. "Sapkit!! You didn't realize there was a Poison Ivy plant right near you, did you?" She asked her eyes teasing. What she didn't realize just yet, was that when she was near the positional plant she had stepped on the same leaf that had landed on Sapkit's nose!

  • The medicine cat applied some herbs to soothe the itch. "Don't pick at it." He said sternly. "I won't! I promise." Sapkit walked out of the den.

"I look like a fool," she mumbled. There were bits of herbs in her nose. She clawed the ground trying to not pick at the herbs.

"Grrr... Only if I could pick at it!" She heard some apprentices laugh. She stomped up to them, "haha, very funny." She mocked them.

"We're not laughing at you, we are laughing at Treepaw. You see he said he could kill a bird in one second but he is struggling to do it."

  • OOC: Sorry I was inactive there. Went camping with no connection. :(

IC: Larkkit shrugged. "Not really. One time, I fell in a whole patch of poison ivy. No just my nose. You should've seen who looked like a fool then." She grinned. "So...you guys don't mind if I kind of...tag along? I don't really have any friends," Larkkit mewed sadly.
