Ashkit was knocked over by Pheonixkit kicking him in the gut then starting to batter him.

Ashkit was about to tackle Pheonixkit when their mother yowled for them to take a break. Ashkit stumbled over and began suckling his mother again.

When Ashkit finished he curled up next to his mother and fell fast asleep.

Later that night...

Ashkit woke up and glanced around. Everyone was asleep. He got to his paws and felt a cold night air whip past him. He shivered. He silently padded around his two brothers and mother and headed out of the den. The moon shone high in the dark sky, and stars twinkled galore. He sniffed the air and trotted towards the entrance but stopped halfway at the sight of a guard. He quicly changed direction towards the dirt-place tunnel and went through, then came out from a secret exit and headed out into the forest. Grasshoppers chirped and lightning bugs glowed around. Ashkit caught one in his paws and playfully battered at it before it flew off. He was enjoying his play when a paw was shoved on his mouth and he was lifted. He met a pair of evil amber eyes before his whole face was covered up. He tried to wail but he couldn't make any sound past the paw. He was taken to a strange camp and thrown into an underground cave, by himself. The tunnel that he was thrown in's entrance was blocked and dirt that looked exactly like the dirt around it so nobody knew there was a hole, and a small hole, big enough to be an adder hole was cut at the top of the cave so a bit of moonlight shone on the pool of water that was inside. There was a rock ledge just short enough for Ashkit to climb onto, and there was a mouse waiting for him to eat. He licked his lips at the smeel of fresh-kill and dove towards it. he had never tasted mouse before. He just chewed on it at first, but then finally biting through and eating the fresh meat. Ashkit felt warm inside and quickly finished the mouse. He then got a drink from the pool and climbed onto the rock ledge. If you jumped from the edge you'd fall right into the middle of the pool. Ashkit layed down on it. It was cold, but soon adjusted to Ashkit's body weight. He curled up a nfell asleep, wishing he had the warmth of his mother and brothers around him...

Ashkit woke up to the ledge cold. He was starting to panic for he didn't know where he was, but then remembered and got to his feet. He saw they had given him another mouse to eat so he quickly went over and gobbled it up. A beam of sinshine filtered in through the hole in the roof and onto the pool, making the light spread and the pool almost seem to be glowing. He padded over to it, curious, and dipped his paw in. It was still cold. Then he saw more light as the entrance tunnel opening was opened. Ashkit heart soared. They were letting him go! But then he saw three cats padding in, all of their claws unsheathed, and heading towards him. At first he thought it was nothing until the first cat slammed him against the ground, sinking his claws into his small body. Ashkit squeaked in terror. The second cat raked his claws down his tiny tail and the third ripped off the tips of his ears. After a while they left him to bleed on the cave floor. They gave him a tiny amount of cobweb that he didn't even know how to use, then closed the cave entrance again. Ashkit sat there, still shaking with fear. The cave floor felt cold as he continued to bleed.

Ashkit meowed, "How did you find me?" He looked at the entrance tunnel to see they had left it open. He looked back at Shadowkit. "This is a rogue camp. You could have killed yourself!" He exclaimed.

"Oh..." Ashkit meowed. He tried to get to his paws but he was in too much pain and fell back down on his side. His wounds were bleeding heavily. "Ouch..." He murmured.

He blinked his green eyes gratefully. "Thanks." He meowed. He was able to walk though he still felt pain. "Do you think you can get me back to SnowClan?" He asked.
