Xyo the lonely she-cat

    Xyo padded softly through the under brush. Her mind dancing around in thoughts. Being alone came natural to this she-cat. She had heard of clan cats,but never wondered what it would be like to be one. She knew she couldnt stay alone forever though. She needed to make friends,or even better find a mate.

    Xyo jumped at the sound of a voice. She turned to look in the direction of the sound. "i am Xyo... Who are you?" she said tilting her head and a questioning manner.

    Jay, a rouge clan leader, looked on from the bushes. This cats were close to his land and he wanted to make sure they weren't a threat. He watched them with wide blue eyes flecked with a bright leaf green. His fur was a shade of white striped with small amount of pale grey around his nose. He watched cautiously. Not worried as much about the She cat, but more about the tom.

    Xyo scented jay before she saw him. She wondered why he was watching them. Sucking up her fear she decided to find out. "do you need something..?" she spoke to jay. She inched closer,not too close, and sat down.

    Xyo nodded "i understand. i am very sorry i was unaware of your borders" she said in a kind tone. Her green eyes glimmered with respect. "we are no harm to you. i was simply passing through." she said as she wrapped her tail around her paws.

    Jay was curious now, He padded out from the bushes exposing his long, thick, lightly coloured coat to the brightening sunlight. 'And where exactly are you heading?' He asked, his tone softened slightly. These two were no threat. He was a large tomcat with a whole clan at his command. Even if he didn't like to hurt another he knew that they wouldn't challenge him.

    Xyo tilted her head. "No where i guess. i wander a bit. place to place really." she eyed the tom up and down,Her fur tipped left ear twitched slightly.

    "you look like a clan leader...." said flame as horrible memories from the past flashed in his mind.

    'Were not really a clan. Were a community of loners that joined together no matter what their past. I just make sure things don't get out of paw' He looked at the other cat with gentle eyes.

    "good or bad....it doesn't matter really.." she said somberly. "Most loners do that..remember?" she said in a playful tone.

    She laughed. "I suppose" she said "so what's your name leader" she added to her first statement as she flicked her ears to get rid of a fly that had landed on them.

    'Jay' he answered plainly. He looked at them both with careful eyes. Still cautious of there intentions. In his eyes a cat going no where was a cat in need and cats in need could do terrible things.

    She nodded "i'm xyo.." she said softly. she noticed he was eyeing them carefully. It didn't surprise her. a random wandering cat is usually suspicious
