[fancypost borderwidth=2px]A ebony black figure threaded herself into the dominant shadows of the apprentices den, her tail flicking. It was so boring right now, and especially since she couldn't wrack up a nice chat with one of her Clanmates, because of her disability.

She was born without vocal cords.

  • Libertypaw exited the apprentice's den, padding out tiredly. She stopped at the entrance to yawn and arch her back in a stretch, her sharp gaze catching a kitten wrapped in shadows. "Hey kid," she murmured tiredly, swiping a salmon pink tongue over her lips.

[fancypost borderwidth=2px]Harlequin gaze flickered over to a apprentice who had randomly approached her without testing what she was like in another presence. But the kitten shrugged it off, and licked her lips at Libertypaw. Wasn't much else she could do, apart from smile. Although lately, that happy gesture had been overused.

She couldn't believe nobody knew what she sounded like, not even her.

  • Libertypaw started grooming herself, cleaning flecks of accumulated mess- gathered throughout the day- from her dilute torbie pelt. 'Don't smile if you don't mean it,' the apprentice thought, not looking up from her pelt. She was Windclan royalty after all.
