Ranks:
Empress~The cat who rules the Amazon. Always a she-cat. The cat who is lucky enough to become her mate is no longer a Claw-flexer, but a King, though they are lower-ranked than a Cheif.
King~The male who becomes the Empress's mate. It is a great honor to receive this rank, though many cats do try to claw their way up here. They are still lower in ranking than the Cheif.
Cheif~The second-in-command. Like a deputy. To be Empress after the current leader dies. Always a she-cat.
Medic(s)~The cat(s) who heal the Tribe. Usually a female. If a male, they are not respected as much as females. Their respect level is after the Amazons. Second most respected after the Empress.
Medic Trainee(s)~The apprentice(s) of the Medics, trained to heal the tribes as their mentors do. After one medic retires or dies, the oldest Medic Trainee takes his/her place as a full Medic.
Amazons~The cats who hunt and fight for the Tribe. They are not required to hunt, but may do so for pleasure. They are always females.
Claw-flexers:The cats who hunt and fight for the Tribe. They are required to hunt, and are fed twice a day by one of the Amazons(who take turns). They are fed what is left from the Prey Pile, and if there is nothing, they are forced to hunt again. Always males. The second lowest ranking cats of the Tribe after the Slaves.
Trainees~The apprentices. They are trained by the Amazons to hunt and fight. Always females.
Juniors~The male apprentices, the cats in training to become a Claw-flexer.
Queens~Like their name, they are pampered until their kits are born. If they are expecting their first litter, one Claw-flexer is assigned to bring them the bst, plumpest peice of prey. THe Queen may take pity(but they usually don't) on them and release them of their duty. If they do not, the Claw-flexer must do everything and anything the Queen requires. If a Queen is the mother of a male, they are treated no less. Queens take their mate at random, though the mate must be approved by the Empress.
Kits~Like the title says, they are kits born to Queens. If they are male, they are to start training at four moons, if they are female, they are to start training at six moons.
Elders~The elders are the retired Claw-flexers and Amazons, though the males have a corner of the den that they must hang around. If they are male, they are not entitled to become a master. Amazons, however, can. The Empress is to assign each retired Amazon a slave, the eldest are to be given their slave first, though the Empress has her own personal slave.
Slaves~The toms that are scrawnier or skinnier than the rest. The Empress can choose to make a Slave a Claw-Flexer, or she can choose a perfectly healthy tom to become a slave if they have a shortage.

Beleifs:
They beleive in the Spirits, the cats like StarClan and the Abaddon, the cats like the Dark Forest. When the Empress receives her nine lives, she goes to a place called Crystal Cave, where the walls and ceiling are covered in ice blue crystals, casting an eery glow. There is a small pool which the Empress sleeps by, receiving her nine lives.
In camp, there's a cave containing a large bowl, the Bowl Of Eternity. It takes two cats to push it. In the Bowl Of Eternity lies a drop of every cat's blood from the beginning of the Amazons. It binds all the cats together, even the males.
Tribal Prints:
A cat receives this at birth, or shortly after birth. The Medics consult with their anscestors. The anscestors tell them what the kit's Tribal Print will be. The Tribal Print determines what the cat's personality will be like. If the anscestors stay silent, the kit that does not receive their Tribal Print is cursed and are destined to become slaves, even if they are females. Only under that circumstance does a female become a slave. If the cat does get their tribal print, the Medics must preform the following ceremony:
They chant:"Welcome, welcome to the Amazon. Pledge your un-dying loyalty with a drop of you blood. Throughout your journey to adulthood, you must take the nessiscary risks of life! Hale, [cats name here], Hale the Spirits!"
The Medics take one of their claws and prick the cat's pad. They drip one drop of blood into the Bowl Of Eternity, and on the caat's pad, a black symbol appears, the shape of their Tribal Print. If the cat is female, the prick must be on the front right pad, and if the cat is a male, the prick must be on the back left pad.
Female Tribal Prints:
Eagle:This cat is heroic, feirce, brave and strong. They tend to be stubborn and strong-willed. She is smart and thoughtful, though, at times when under stress, she can be a little short-tempered. When she's angry, most cats should leave her alone. They are natural leaders. Considered a blessing. (No one is allowed to have this print.)
Lightning:This cat is stubborn and short-tempered. They are snappy and rude, often bitter.
Cedar Tree:This cat is ill-tempered, furious most of the time. They follow orders without question, they hardly let anyone in.
Claw:This is a curse. Whoever bares this Print is killed immediately, or if they are lucky, exhiled. Having this evil Print means the Abaddon has claimed this cat.
Feather:A harmless, loyal cat who treats no one with disrespect. They are kind and are afraid to speak up.
Wave:A gentle, wise cat. The most respectable cat of their rank. She will not provoke a fight without reason. She is feirce, but not blood-thirsty.
Leaf:Future Medics get this print to plan out their fate.
Mountain:A so-so cat. She tends to be both short-tempered and wise. She can switch from funny, to serious very quikly. She has some control over her personality.
Male Tribal Prints:

Rock:A short-tempered, stubborn, easily annoyed cat. He is loyal, but can be set off with the right amount of agitation.
Mountain:A so-so cat. He tends to be both short-tempered and wise. He can switch from funny to serious quikly. He has some control over his personality.
Twig:A wise-ish cat. He's loyal and trustworthy, but not respected by the Amazons.
Cloud:A gentle, harmless cat. He is loyal and does things without question. He doesn't try and agitate anyone, and if he does, he apologizes sincerely. He is kind and nice, a good cat to talk to.
It is rare to see the Empress talking to an Amazon who is not a senior warrior. When she walks by, you must dip your head, a sign like bowing, a sign of respect and admiration. If you do not, you are tortured.
Claw-flexers are not treated like slaves, they are just not as important as the females, hardly payed any attention to. They just get the last meal of the day. A she-cat's domination is stretched, though females are not allowed to harm toms.
Yes, of course we DO love. We just show toms where their places are at. She-cats are in domination, toms simply just lower ranking than us glorious females. We do love, yes, we live life to the fullest. If a she-cat is caught mis-treating a tom, she will most likely be exhiled.
Another she-cat who thinks she is worthy of the thrown can challenge Valerie to a duel. The party that loses will be an outcast, yet not exhiled. The Empress almost always exhiles that cat to prevent the challenge from happening again.
All cats say "Empress [cat's name here]" never just their name. This is a sign of respect.
As you see, names are very important to us. Half of the Tribe has Greek, Roman and Latin names.
Toms are never beaten, hurt or cursed. They are just simply lower in ranking then she-cats. Slaves are not at all like their names. They just call their master 'Master' and simply do things for cats.

Territory:
The Amazon have a large expance of territory, including moors, forests, streams and waterfalls. The Tribe's prey are fish, squirrels, rabbits, birds, mice, voles, shrews, or anything they can find.
There's Rabbit Hill, a large expanse of moor. There are two trees in it, scattered with two clumps of bushes.
There's the prey-filled forest with plenty of herbs. Most of the trees are covered in moss. THere are plenty of bramble bushes, and as you're nearing the moor, there's a bush of blackberries.
The Cabin is a perfect place for Medics. The twoleg that lives there has a garden, and she doesn't mind cats taking her herbs. a dog lives with her, but he's a small terrier, one blow to the face would send the dog running.
There is a clearing in tightly-packed trees. It's perfect for training. There's a hollow log off to one side, a bush in the middle, and the stream runs right outside of the clearing. We call it the Training Hollow.
Rock Pile. Rock Pile is a perfect place to sun yourselves. You'll often find she-cats there, hardly ever toms. Most of the time, the Empress is there, embracing the warm sun. She usually will have a bunch of close she-cats surrounding her, supporting her, talking to her.
The Hot Springs is a perfect place! Take a dip in, the water's warm, not to hot! If you want to cool off, by all means, go to the waterfall! Around the Hot Springs are rocks, a perfect place. This is a luxury toms rarely get to see. Maybe once a season if they're lucky.

Most of Camp is made up of caves in the walls, for the camp is a quarry. There is one dug cave for the slaves, a bush for the nursery and a a hollow, large rock for the medicine cat den. The most outstanding den is the Empress's. Her Cave is higher up in the quarry, still in the rock wall. There is a ledge in front of it, with a smooth, sandy path leading up to it. Shew calls Tribe Gatherings on the ledge. The ledge is called Gathering Ledge.
