  • "I definitely got stronger when fighting off the bites and scratches of my old clan." She meowed. She started to plot.

  • "That cat is harsh" Peppi stared into the horizon where he had dissapeared. "What really happened, Shadowwhisker? Why does he hate you?"

  • "He and I go far back to when we were simple apprentices. He was always older than me. One day, the forest was burning. I helped the whole clan but when I went to help him, an elder pulled me away. He said I made the choice to leave him there to die and swore he would make my life miserable in every way. Even when trying to kill me, he wanted to make it as painful as possible." She looked at peppi then layed down, still feeling a bit exhausted from the first blow he gave.

  • "I'm sorry" Peppi shook his head. "I hate those kinds of people. I think we can all agree we've experienced someone like that."

  • "Yeah. Those kind of cats end up in the dark forest as they say. I live off pure rogue now." She walked in a circle around peppi and sat down in front of him again.

  • Dusk coughed awkwardly, not quite sure what to say. "Sorry about what happened and all, but can we get moving? As much as I'd love a fight, I'm not too sure you'd be able to handle it." She said, nodding to Shadowwhisker and standing up, pacing up and down where they were sitting.

  • Peppi flicked his ear in confusion, before following them both slowly.
"Now what?" he asked. "We've gotten rid of that Clanner...so what will we do now?"

  • "Challenging?" Peppi narrowed his eyes cautiously. "What do you mean by that?"
If all three of them tried facing a full Clan, they would be out-numbered. He didn't want that to happen.

  • "Sounds like a stupid idea." Dusk said, glancing at the she-cat. "Far too many cats in a clan. Even with our fighting skills, we would be far outmatched in terms of numbers. And also, I think you need to toughen up before you even think about challenging a clan." She said, looking away. "It's way too risky."

  • She sighed, knowing they were right. "How else can I get stronger? Hunting prey is no big deal. Too easy to kill." She stopped and looked at the two rogues in front of her.

  • Dusk laughed. "Prey doesn't fight back, darling. Practice against one of us, or pick a fight against one of the weaker cats in the clan until you get stronger or something. I don't know." She muttered, shrugging.

  • "Hah. I'm not that much of a fool to challenge one of you after that fight." She meowed. She looked around expecting something else strange to happen.

  • Dusk laughed. "We'd only be practising. Peppi and I wouldn't hurt you." She said, grinning. "It would be a bit counter productive to hurt you after saving you, wouldn't it?" She pointed out, looking around.

  • She shrugged. One of her ears went back and she looked behind her. It was a small but plump swallow. She dropped to a crouch, having not eaten in a few days. She watched it. When it pecked at the ground, she pounced, landing on top of the small bird and biting it's neck. There was a small "CRACK" and the bird fell, dead.

  • "Nice" commented Peppi, watching the she-cat kill the bird. "And I agree with Dusk. We wouldn't hurt you. Only if you hurt us first."
His amber eyes flickered around the small clearing they were in, the scent of the RiverClan tom still lingering slightly. He wrinkled his nose in disgust.

  • Dusk nodded in agreement, and sat down, grooming herself when she noticed she had a bit of blood on her flank. Thankfully, it wasn't hers. She winced in disgust. "My God, even his blood tastes like fish." She muttered, wincing.

  • "They are fish" purred Peppi. "Fish with fur."
He couldn't imagine himself bathing or swimming in water. It was disgusting.

  • Dusk laughed. "Ah, I forgot that." She said, smirking. Satisfied that she was clean enough, she let out a huge yawn, her jaws gaping wide.
