Silvermoonlight stared at her reflection in the river. The moonlight glinted on her silver fur coat. She watched as her mirror image became distorted form the rippling water. She wanted there to be someone with whom she could talk to, to give her heart to, to love...

Dragon climbed a tree making an annoying noise.

"Who's there!" She meowed.

"Me," Dragon meowed in the tree

Silvermoonlight wildly whipped her head around to see who it was. Confused she took a step back, but then something caught her eye. She saw a tom up in a tree. She sighed, "Who's me?"

"I'm Dragon," he growled

She took a step back, startled by his sudden aggressiveness. She shook her head becoming angry. "Ok, sorry I asked..." She snarled, turning her back on him.

He stayed on the tree,"what's your name," he asked suddenly in a different tone.

She turned around, her silver eyes staring into his. "Silvermoonlight.." She said with suspicion creeping in.

"Nice name," he meowed, coming down from the tree

"How did you get yours, doesn't sound like a clan cat name so where you from?" She asked.

"I was a kitty-pet but I ran away," he mewed

"Oh, well I was a clan cat but I wanted to be a loner." She said looking at her paws.

"Why?" He asked. "I thought clan life is the best," he meowed

"I didn't feel like I belonged..."

He nodded in understanding

"I'm hungry, let's hunt!" She mewed.

"Ok," he meowed and stalked a rabbit catching it.

"Nice catch!" She replied, looking at the rabbit hungrily.
