    This is the Nortaz tribe, they live in a forest, referred to as the Valdez Forest. The Nortaz tribe is based on plants, mostly trees. There are two other tribes, the Lopez tribe, the Gomez tribe, and the Cordez tribe (as you can probably see I'm using some last names).

    Nortaz History


    The Nortaz cats were not once of tribal blood, they were once kittypets. They were going on vacation with their owners, when the truck crashed. The family had about five cats, one who was expecting kittens. In the crash, a young apprentice aged cat died, along with the female owner. The male went and got help, but left without his cats.
    The four cats buried their lost friend, whose name was Pickle, he was brown and always had some sort of green mold in his fur. He never bothered to wash it, and claimed that it had given him his name.
    The cats, whose names were Rose, Feather, Thorn, and Phantom, continued. They soon met a group of wild cats (not big cats, just normal cats that lived in the wild). The lone cats agreed at once to join up with the other group. They decided to call themselves the Nortaz tribe. They found the Valdez forest, with the other two tribes. They found their place at the Great Oak, which is now their camp.
    They elected Phantom to be their leader, as Thorn was too aggressive and neither of the females volunteered. Phantom chose a cat by the name of Trunk to be his deputy. Most of the cats became warriors, but they had no doctor/nurse and no oracle. Rose became a queen, and had her kittens days later.
    Rose had four kittens, whom she proudly named Flower (a fluffy gray she-cat), Star (an albino she-cat with very fluffy fur), Jag (a "spiky" brown tabby tom), and Ghost (who looked exactly like his father, Phantom).
    After they grew up and passed the trainee stage, the males became warriors, but their sisters had different ideas. Star became the oracle, and a good one at that. Flower became the nurse, and seemed to know where all the right herbs were to be found.
    The Nortaz tribe knew the other tribes had alternate names for their ranks based off of their tribal plant, so the Nortaz tribe did it as well. Their tribe ran smoothly, and it still does. Although they do quarrel with the other tribes.

    Cats are aloud to have human names, since they once lived with them and learned many new names that twisted the tongue and inspired even better names.

    Voodoos


    Voodoos are five special cats that build dolls and monuments of those who have died. They use wood, stone, berry juice, mud, water, sap, and any other material they need. Sometimes they'll even raid twoleg nests for cloth.


    To Create a Doll: (I'm going to use my example cat Sparrow, he's a sleek black tom with yellow eyes, he died in battle)


    Step 1. carve wood sleek cat figurine


    Step 2. take feathers off sparrow (bird)


    Step 3. mix berry juice together with mud until it is the colors you want (for this black pink/red, purple, and yellow) and fairly thick (if too thick add water)


    Step 4. use leaves to paint figurine black


    Step 5. use leaves to paint sparrow feathers black (if not already)


    Step 6. use sap to glue feathers to figure


    Step 7. use twig (with leaves on the tip) to dab yellow eyes on the figure


    Step 8. use same twig (washed off) to draw pink/red injuries on figure


    Step 9. use small leaf to dab purple bruises on figure


    As you can see here, Voodoos will create to the figure to represent the cat's name and how they died. If that cat did great deeds, was leader, or an oracle they will receive a monument as well as the doll in their honor when they die. The monument is made like the doll accept it's made of stone and is much bigger. It will also have a drawing representing their name and rank (for Sparrow he would have a picture of a sparrow and a leaf in the shape of a claw, the symbol of a warrior).     Cat Name: Haptic


    Gender: female

    Age: 13 moons


    Appearance- Haptic is a classic spotted silver tabby. Her spots very ragged and uneven. They get smaller and lighter on the legs, but get larger and darker on her tail. Her tail tip is white, along with a small white spot at the tip of her left ear. Her fur is short to medium, and her tail is the nomal length for a domestic cat.

    Kits: N/A


    Rank Wanted: She is a warrior, and she feels no need to be superior than that rank. Hwever, as history went as it was planned, she should have been in one of the larger tribes. Even then though, she would be a smaller rank. She had no idea that her destiny was fallen to se more than the average cat- like an Oracle. (She is not to become anything more than warrior though.)


    Personality: Haptic is very quiet, but that is because she is vey observnt. She wants the time to focus on the smaller, more important details of life- why watse time on wordss when you can use them for observation? She is quite a mysterious cat, and that's when you can even get a word out of her. She is very shadowy, always trying to stay out of the main attention.


    Parents: Both of her parents were kittypets- both her father and mother had no living cat who knew them- other, of course, than Haptic. Haptic refused to share their names, but her mother was name Charra and her father was named Tyro.


    Siblings: No living cat is a relative to Haptic.


    History: Her mother was of the ToBE, while her father was of the ToRW. The met one day, and then began meeting more and more. Their forbidden friendship soon sprouted into love- and a heck lot more than just love. Eventually, her mother got pregnant with kits. All but one of them died. And really, her life wasn't worth all of the trouble. Her parents abused her because of how terrible she was at everything. After a life of plans, she ran to the ToMS for a new life. She had kits with a tribe cat there. However, the two kits were very mischevious. They snuck off one day, only to end up being captured by twoleg monsters. They were forced into the life of a kittypet, which they found very, very uncomfortable. Now, many, many, many generations later, Haptic was born. Haptic often heard whispers from her ancestors, telling her to fulfill her destiny. Although she had no idea what that meant, she tried even harder to find the meaning of her life. Also, she, unlike both of her kittypet parents, was very uncomfortable with life under twoleg ruling. On a ferry trip, the ship wrecked into a large iceberg. Every living creature other than her died in the wreck. She found herself quite close to land though, and hence found the tribe.

    By the way, you're accepted. If you want, you can add the Appearance after Age. So, you want Oracle, am I correct? That's who we'll decide first, then doctor/nurse, then deputy. I'll make Haptic a warrior for now, then if she gets picked for Oracle

    Cat Name: Jynx


    Gender: she-cat


    Age: 12 moons


    Appearance: Here you will see what her basic pelt color looks like. The only thing different is that her eyes are light but vivid green, not an amber-yellow color. also, her ears are a bit less up straight like that, if you know what I mean. Her tail is permanently broken. (see parents)


    Mate: Jynx has no mate.


    Kits: Jynx has no kits either.


    Rank Wanted: She is warrior, but she wants to be a voodoo.


    Personality: Jynx has always been a quiet cat, feeling left out. The other cats never included her in their little things, rather them be games or groups. Either way, she was involved in none. It left her having a quiet personality, because she wasn't used to being quiet. She has always een a very creative and artistic cat. As soon as she heard of the voodoos, she knew it was the right thing for her. No matter what she has to do, she is convinced that she will become a voodoo. She remembers no parents, so she has always felt very, very alone and useless. She feels that letting her talents flow will allow her to avenge them. She doesn't know how, she just feels that she is worth something.


    Parents: Jynx's parents both died in a small wildfire. It was just a small storm, but lightning + dry wood isn't a very good thing, if you want to keep your pelt at least. A large oak tree caught fire while her parents were at the top. It was near a small hill, and that's where Jyxn was sitting, watching as they died before her. The next day however, Jynx was caught in a landslide with her one friend, who died that day. Jynx was terribly bruised up, and her tail was broken. A large rock hit her head, causing a case of amnesia. A few cats knew a bit about her, and reminded her all that they could. Noe of them, however, knew about her parents, who were wiped from history forever. (Both of them were of the forest's linage, neither dwelled in clans or tribes.)


    Siblings: Jynx had npon sissters or brothers.


    History: Well, alot of her history was revealed through the 'parents' section of the form. Her parents died, but then she had amnesia. After that, she was very left out and stuff until she joined the tribe as a warrior.


    Any Other Tribes in Lineage: Nope, she is completely free of tribe lineage.

    Other: Nope, not that I can think of.


    Comments: Also, no, I don't want Haptic to be the oracle. (She's going to die soon, so...) Also, it says Voodoos. How many is that?
