blackpaw nods, climbing on another tree. as she climbed higher and higher the branches got thinner and thinner. she started to climb down to the lowest branch and jumped landed."better? the higher i go the branches get smaller but there are a lot of birds up there." she mewed.

BraveTail nodded her approval. "Now catch me a rabbit." She watched, wondering if the apprentice could catch her one in good time.

She pointed a little over the horizon. "A rabbit built a den on our territory. Sniff out the den, and catch me one."

she noddedi would be great speed training i guess blackpaw sniffed for the rabbit. the sent was stale but followed it to the den. she looked at the eatting rabbit. easy she ran at at the hare who satrted to run.fox dung she ran faster but finely got it. "i got it" she panted

'You only made 1 mistake! You shouldn't run at it, stalk it, like any other prey." She lloked upon BlackPaw with pride, and a small element of suprise, because she didn't expect her to actually catch it.

Back at camp Jaggedfeather walked around camp "I'll take her jaggedfeather seems busy." he mimicked Bravetails words.Huh she thinks she's better than me- that's not true she hasn't even had an apprentice yet!, he thought.Jaggedfeather went to the fresh kill pile and got a squirrel for himself. I wan to see Bravetail fight me-she wouldn't be so brave fighting against me would she, he thought to himself.After he ate the squirrel he went outside camp to find his apprentice-it was time to train her.

Jaggedfeather got to the place where Blackpaw and Bravetail were."Tree hunting?" he asked. "Bravetail, you know Shadowclan doesn't really hunt in trees-that's Thunderclan's job." he meowed. Jaggedfeather caught Blackpaws scent, he looked into a tree "BLACKPAW! I know you in there you can come out-it's time to train." he yowled.
