Jaywing leapt at a rabbit but missed, then raced after it. It split off one way, and she watched it, splitting off the other way. She suddenly bunped into a furry figure.

"i was just walking around....... OK I WAS BOARD!" mewed Darkstorm "are you in a clan? i left my clan so i am a loner!"

Jaywing chuckeled. "I'm Jaywing of Hawkclan." she said. "Maybe you could join."

Owlclaw walked out of a bush after hearing that. "Are you crazy? How do you know he won't walk out of this one to!?! He's a loner!" he said in a lot of shock.

Jaywing turned to Owlclaw. "Oh, you're right," she said, muttering "stupid" under her breath. She felt stupid. "Wait, were you listening to us?!"

"I was out patroling," Owltalon told her. "You're lucky I'm the only one who heard you!"

"Oh." she said. "Can I patrol with you?"

"I guess. What were you suposed to be doing out here?" Owltalon asked.

Owlclaw walked out of a bush after hearing that. "Are you crazy? How do you know he won't walk out of this one to!?! He's a loner!" he said in a lot of shock.Darkstorm growled at owltalon. "fine! i wil just leave!" he hissed and padded away.

"I was hunting," she retorted. She turned to the loner and bit her lip but looked back at Owltalon.

Risingheart padded out. "I heard it too." he told them. "I promise, nothing will come out of my mouth." he promised. "Don't even ask what I was doing. I was just going for a stroll, and decided to hunt a bit." he explained. He licked a paw, and drew it over a ear. Giving a brusque nod, and padded off.

Jaywing watched Risingheart pad away. "Uh...." she muttered, but turned back to Owltalon. She padded off, slowly so Owltalon could catch up. Embarrassing.... She thought.

Risingheart looked back, and chuckled. "Just messing with you," he purred. "I love to see the reactions, when I play mysterious."

Jaywing breathed a sigh of relief. "Want to patrol with us?" she asked, looking back at him.

Jaywing padded off slowly, waiting for him to catch up. She sniffed the air, smelling for rival clan cats.
