  • Sly shrugged, "alrite, if you want to Terrence." She nodded to Fionna to show it was okay for her to rest. Her ears flicked at gnats.

  • Fionna flopped down to the ground. She rested her head on her paws, as she lazily licked them. Her yellow eyes were just gazing at what was in front of her, which was just trees, trees, and oh, more trees. Yawning, she blinked her eyes rapidly a few times, trying to keep them open.

  • A single, curt nod, and Terrence was wandering back off through the woods, leaving the two femmes alone for the meantime. He didn't intend to just hunt, though. While he stalked around for a good deer, he would also be patrolling. Intruding males would either run very fast, or die.

  • Sly watched the big tom disappear into the forest. She wondered what his true intentions were. She looked at Fionna, "so whats your name?" she asked. She hadnt bothered to learn it.

  • "Fionna." She replied, her eyes slowly closing, as she fell into a light sleep. She still had all her other senses on red alert, but she was just resting her eyes.

  • "Ah Fionna... " the she-panther mrrowed. She began to continue marking off her territory, wondering when Terrence would get back.

  • Fionna nodded, and rolled onto her beck. Soon, she was in a medium sleep. She still had all her senses on red alert, but not as alert as before. A bit weaker, because she was tired, and just wanted to take a good, nice, long nap.

  • Terrence returned, dragging a medium size deer over the ground. He let it drop near the group. It was getting near the hot part of the day, when he wanted to be asleep. "Here...I gotcha all something."

  • Fionna lazily opened one of her eyes, to see some prey before them. Rolling onto her paws slowly, she slightly slumped over to it, and crouched down. She teared out a big piece of flesh, and sat down. She chewed on it slowly,"Wanks." She mumbled between chews.

  • "Yeah thanks," Sly meowed, strolling over. She ripped off a piece of meat and began chewing the stringy meat.

  • "No problem, enjoy." Terrence plopped himself down in the shade, waiting till they were done before giving it a nibble. He wasn't too hungry since he'd just had something earlier. But he'd likely want some of it anyway. A big guy like him had a big appetite.

  • Sly finished up, licking her lips and purring gently. It was a tasty deer. She settled down and stretched out, letting out a large yawn.

  • Fionna soon finished, and she felt like she couldn't take one more bite. She yawned, and settled herself in a sleeping position. Resting her head on her paws. She began to close them, as she lazily licked her paw.

  • Terrence finished his fill, and there was still some left, but he knew they wouldn't be back to eat it later...meat spoiled so fast in this weather and there just wasn't enough to warrant burying and saving it. So, they would just enjoy being full now and worry about another meal later.

He lay down next to the two she-cats and had himself a nap to pass the heat of the day, a little more comfortably in the shade.

Thunder woke him up a bit, as rain suddenly fell, though the fronds overhead mostly kept them dry.

  • Fionna grumbled, as a small rain drop splashed on her nose. Lazily opening one of her eyes, she glanced up to see a rainstorm, with gray clouds, and Thunder shaking the earth a bit,"Great." She grumbled, sarcasm easily detected in her voice. Why did it have to rain now, out of all the times? It had just been sunny, and sunny is the perfect time to take a nap. She drowsily brought herself to her feet, and began to lick her paw, swiping it over her whiskers.

  • "Eh just sleep it off." Terrence yawned, and lay where he was. Thunderstorms never lasted very long anyway. It'd be over soon and they could continue...doing whatever.

Wow, is this is? Do I have a real home here with these two or what? Terrence considered himself hugely lucky if he did. He was set for life!

  • Fionna just simply shrugged,"Walk." She mumbled, and padded out of the shelter. Usually, if she talked, it was just one word at a time. It took a while, before she could talk fully to others of her kind. The rain plastered her reddish pelt to her skin, making it look as sleek as ever. She padded around in a circle, enjoying the rain. She actually quite loved the rain, but before, she had been tired, and grumpy. But, now, she didn't mind it.
