• Opuskit wasn't sure of what a medicine cat was, but he trusted this she-cat; she was much nicer than the strangers they'd met up with in the mountains, a few moons back. He had only recently heard of WindClan and only had a vague idea of what they were, and hadn't much to go on as to trust. Littlekit didn't respond the first few times he had spoken to her, but seemed to come to with a jab and was not hesitant to pad into the medicine den after them.

Waxingdaisies sat at its entrance, nodding to Ambrosiaflare and deciding to speak only when prompted.

  • "Hey!" Eastpaw also purred to Opuskit, recognizing him when Waxingdaises showed up in the Bloodclan camp on her little excursion. She smiled and briefly bowed to Waxingdaises out of respect and acknowledgement that she was there too.

  • Answer: 7! XD

ic: "How are you feeling? And what clan are you from?" said Waterskipper, quite warm to Eastpaw because like all the wounded warriors returning from the great battle, she had fought bravely.

  • Eastpaw blushed lightly as the Windclan warrior started talking to her. Gently she spoke.

"Th-thunderclan.. And Im aching... and Im tired."

She had been through a lot after all.

  • Eastpaw was nervous about that. "O-oh.. Thank you.. " She meant her thanks to everyone there and Windclan in general. "H-how long do you think Im gunna stay??" Its not like she didnt want to stay.. All her favorite cats were in Windclan. Hawkpaw. Orchidpaw. Acepaw. Shinepaw. Gravelkit. Konoha. Even Waxingdaises. In fact the only other cat she really knew, was Crescentpaw, her brother. Maybe she could stay in Windclan forever... Maybe. Or maybe not. Was that breaking the warrior code? She figured it was. Sadly.

  • "That would be something Ambrosiaflare could answer better than me," purred Waterskipper with a gentle feline grin. "Just get some rest, sooner you heal up the quicker you can be back at Thunderclan. If you'd like I could ask Scarredstar to send someone over there to let them know you're safe with us."

  • Eastpaw shook her light brown head. "N-no thank you. Thats not necessary... Truthfully. No one would realize I was missing.." she mumbled sadly. "Ill just show up there when the time comes." She didn't want to go back. Although what she said was true. No one really knew her or would miss her from Thunderclan. The real reason was because she didn't want to go back and leave all the friends she had made in Windclan. But, she could tell Waterskipper was trying to be nice and help her. Scarredstar? Who was that? She didn't recall that leader's name.. So Windclan had a new leader. Things were happening that didnt pertain to her. Now she felt selfish for thinking what she went through was the worst thing ever. And making such a big deal out of her injuries, her r.ape, her kids. At least she wasnt dead. Like the previous Windclan leader. She smiled at Waterskipper. "Im t-thirsty..." she managed through a sore, dry throat.

  • ((OOC| It would wither at a point it was badly damaged and drop off. She might wake up one day and it might be, or yes it could just happen.))

Ambrosiaflare noticed the lingering effects of the cough and wished fleetingly for more coltsfoot. She would be glad indeed of his Newleaf's arrival. She finished with Eastpaw's tail, then glanced to Waterskipper and nodded a greeting to her and the family with her. "Eastpaw leave the herbs on your shoulder for now, and try to take a little more willowbark." She slid another piece over. "Waterskipper, please bring her in." She pulled back to fetch a wad of moss she soaked in her little pool, leaving it by Eastpaw with a small smile. "I'd day at least half a moon, I'm sorry to keep you form your clanmates, but your injuries need time to recover."

  • Waterskipper motioned for Littlekit and her kits to enter. She made room and stepped to the side. "I need to get back to my family, but they just came into camp like this, Ambrosiaflare. Eastpaw, you're thirsty?"

She brought some snow in, bunched in her front paws. "Here."

  • ooc: Mkay :) I have some of it wither and drop off! Poor Eastpaws gunna have a short tail DX..

Lol Wynnsies, I think thats what the wad of moss Ambrosiaflare set in front of Eastpaw is for! ;P

    ic:

Eastpaw nodded, "I understand," she purred lightly to Ambrosiaflare. She again felt embarrassed as both cats flustered over her. "T-thanks Waterskipper... but..." she motioned towards the mossball of water. "I think thats what this is for.. " she purred with a light giggle. She was thirsty, but unsure which to drink from. She decided on the snow, since it would eventually melt.

  •
Hawktalon glanced at the others and was instantly silent. Still, the familiar face of Waterskipper was only relief that reminded him he was back in WindClan. And he was a warrior. Though Eastpaw had gone on to call him Hawkpaw, he had yet to correct her because he didn't want to do this apologizing sappy stuff in front of his Clanmates. He was brave and intelligent - he didn't often mess up. His turquoise gaze moved over the other patients, and he was disappointed to see Littlekit. So young... He thought with sympathy.

Glancing towards Eastpaw and waiting until the den died down a little, he wondered if it would be best for him to just come back another time. After all, in the commotion he had been forgotten and it seemed like Eastpaw had other visitors. Plus she was probably tired. Leaning towards her, Hawktalon said in a low voice so only her and Ambrosiaflare could hear, "Maybe I'll just come back another time."

  • Eastpaw heard his words, but it sounded like. Im going now. She leaned towards him frantically, "you will be back though right? Hawkpaw?" she asked. She was afraid he was still angry with her and just wanted to be away.

  •
He gave a nod but made sure it wasn't too subtle. "Yes, when it's less crowded in here." Hawktalon said, and then blinked his turquoise blue eyes at her to show he wasn't mad - but he hid his embarrassment at apologizing well. "By the way, it's Hawktalon now."

  • Eastpaw looked at him in surprise and then she brightened up. "Omigosh! Thats awesome!" she purred. "Hawktalon! So cool!" She touched her nose to his. "Congrats. Im envious now... I want my warrior name!" She giggled lightly. Then settled down, "come back soon.. Hawktalon."

  •
He felt proud to hear Eastpaw congrat him, even though she was a ThunderClan apprentice instead of WindClan. He didn't back away from her nose touching his, although every muscle in his body told him to. "Thank you, Eastpaw. I'm sure you will get your warrior name someday, but kits hinder that." He said, flicking his tail towards her stomach. Yet, his words held no vengeance or spite. "I'll come back soon... I just want it to be a little less busy - maybe even just you and me."

With a blink of farewell, he turned to leave, feeling his anxiety float away.

  • Eastpaw nodded, but she held no ill will towards her kits. Even though she knew she wouldn't receive her warrior name for another couple moons because of them. She already loved her kits with all her heart. And again, she found herself wondering how many there would be. "Cyu soon Hawktalon. Maybe Ambrosiaflare could send you in here when its less crowded." She shrugged. She liked all the cats in there. All these cats were really nice.

  •
Hawktalon glanced back over his shoulder at Eastpaw's farewell and nodded a little. "Bye, Eastpaw." He replied and listened patiently to her as she spoke about Ambrosiaflare coming to get him. He wanted to scoff at her suggestion, because why would the medicine cat waste her time looking for him when she had patients to tend to? But he kept his rude remarks to himself and answered firmly, "Maybe." With that, he left the den to find his way to the warriors den for some much needed rest.

  • "Bye Hawkp- talon." She had to remember he was a warrior now! Smiling she looked at the other cats in Ambrosiaflare's den. It was getting crowded in here..

  • Lostpaw scrunched herself to the side, near Eastpaw's nest. It seemed so stupid to have come now. What was the point? She knew no one, and no one would accept her if they did know her. She refused to show her nervous uncertainty, though. She was stronger than that.
