    Willowstream groomed his pelt in long strokes(like Sandpaw with Fireheart in one of the books) and purred. She curled up and closed her eyes and soon fell asleep.


    ooc: when should we do the plot?

    ooc; we could do it now?


    ic: The next morning....


    Willowstream woke up and instead of seeing other warriors, she saw her new mate, Spiderstar next to her. "Good morning!" she purred, stretching. Willowstream preesed closer to him and gently groomed his pelt.


    Dawnflower woke up. "Patrol now." she remembered.

    OOC: K


    IC: Spiderstar got up and stretched, "Morning."

    Heyo peepz!


    IC: Duskpelt walked over to Spiderstar. "Do you want me to lead the patrol?" he asked.

    Hey Dawn!


    IC: "Yeah, that would be great." Spiderstar said to Duskpelt.

    "I think Dawnflower's going." she siad.


    Dawnflower got up and padded out of teh warrior's den. "Ready for patrol?" she asked.

    IC: "Okay then. Who else am I taking?"he asked again.


    Hey!

    "Spiderstar and I." reminded Willowstream.


    Dawnflower almost rolled her eyes but didn't.

    "You can take Violetpaw, she probably needs to go out and pick herbs." Spiderstar said.

    "Okay. I just forgot. I've been doing some heavy thinking lately. Anyway, lets go!" he mewed, leading the way.

    Willowstrea nuzzled Spiderstar and got up. She padded out with him and then padded out of camp.


    Dawnflower rolled her eyes when no one was looking and followed them.

    "Nothing so far." he mewed, continuing the patrol.

    Willowstream looked around and saw something mov through the grass. She shook her head and looked again but it was gone. Probably nothing, she thought.

    Dawnflower looked around.

    Spiderstar also saw the moving thing. Just the wind. He thought.

    Suddenly, a snake sprang forwards and attempted to attck Spiderstar.


    Willowstream gasped in shock and leapt in front of Spiderstar, getting bitten instead.


    The snake went away.


    Willowstream collapsed onto the ground, her body jerking.

    Spiderstar stood in both shock and horror. He didn't think that anything like this would happen, but he was inaccurate. Spiderstar dropped down to the ground where Willowstream lay, and pushed his muzzle into her fur. This can't be happening?! Terrified thoughts spun in his head, making him feel like all hope has been lost. The leader quickly raised his head up, and let out a shriek call, "Help!" He looked back at his mate again before yowling, "Somebody, please help!" It seemed liked everything was broken into shattered dreams, and nothing else mattered.
