  • Moonlightring limped into her den and nodded to show the other cats the bed to lay her severely wounded patient on. It was the bed nearest the exit...where messes would be easiest to clean up if and when they happened.

  • "Right here. When she wakes up she's going to be in some pain and I may have to bring her out slowly." Moonlightring shuffled back towards the supplies she had--including a fresh assortment of the first few herbs and supplies becoming available again as the snow began to melt, and the world began to grow again. She selected goldenrod and more poppy among other things.

  • Stormdapple padded back to the medicine cat den, and put down a vole and a mouse. "How is she?" Stormdapple asked.

  • <blockquote>Desertstorm walked up slowly to the medicine cats den. He could hear the cries of anguish within there. Hmm maybe i should go an help. He slowly crept his way within the den and then spoke up. "Do you need any help in here?" he asked softly as he looked at the she-cat with her broken leg. A short burst of pain went through his back leg as he looked to hers. She must be in so much pain.. he thought as he looked around the medicine cats den.</blockquote>

  • <blockquote>Desertstorm watched as the she-cat crossed the den to give the supplies to the injured cat. He sat down a bit and smiled as she walked by. "Well I'm no medicine cat," he began "But anytime you need me to collect some herbs, I will be right in that warriors den over there." He smiled as he flicked his tail towards the direction of the warriors den.</blockquote>

  • <blockquote>Winterstar padded into the den, dipping his head in greeting to Moonlightring. "What's the status?" the tom inquired. He was informed that the injured queen had been with a tom from WindClan and borne kits from the affair. It seemed as if she was injured now, though.</blockquote>

  • "Anyone who wants to bring in herbs can, actually," said Moonlightring. "Thank you very much. She's going to make it but her back legs are bad and her right one was shattered."

  • <blockquote>"Alright Moonlighting," he meowed, "All I need is the scent of those herbs you need and ill find them in no time." Desertstorm looked to his side to notice Winterstar walking into the den. He bowed his head down to his leader, and began to speak. "Greetings Winterstar," he began, "How is your day?"</blockquote>

  • Loudcry lay Rythmicpaw down on the bed. The Shadowclan smell was so strong here his noise twitched. He would have to return home very soon but as soon as he left he knew he wouldn't be able to return.

  • "Any herbs you see in this den, are ones I could use a fresh supply of but many aren't available yet," said Moonlightring. "As for those of you who are not of our clan, you might want to clear out now. Thank you very much for all the help you gave me."

  • Loudcry smilied at Moonlightring " I hope she gets better soon." He mewed then bolted out and away.f he stayed any longer they would find out more about him and that wouldn't be a good thing.

  • Otterpaw turned to Winterstar with a respectful dip of his head after laying the wounded she-cat down. "I was talking to her by the border and she saw Loudpaw over the thunderpath and ran to him, then a monster ran over her. She's broken both legs." He informed his leader in as mature a voice he could muster up. He would be a warrior very soon, after all.

Heartbreaker nodded to Winterstar, letting Otterpaw explain, since she knew as much about the accident as Winterstar.

  • "yes...The left one should become functional enough again to support her weight. The right one..." Moonlightring shook her head and decided to be honest. "The right one is so badly hurt that she might lose it. Yes, I mean it might just drop off. I was unable to align the bones because they are in so many pieces. I bound it up and am just hoping they heal."

  • "Oh wow," meowed Marshpaw, spotting Otterpaw and padding over to him. "What happened?"

The brown spotted tabby didn't notice who the she-cat was, until she got a closer look. Unconscious Rythmicpaw. Her dear friend, in a sarcastic way.
