She finished the poultice for after the kitting and left it there for a moment as she left to gather poppy seeds and bramble twigs, then returned once more and added it to the mixture.

Lightfeather sniffed the kit, then shifted its body and pushed on its chest. The kit coughed and began to breathe weakly.
