A red kit pads up to Dragonclaw. "Hi, Dragonclaw!" mews Cherrykit, happily.

dragonclclaw smiles. "hey there little kit! aren't you supposed to be an apprentice soon?"

Cherrykit gasps. "Yeah! You're right, Dragonclaw! I'm sooo excited!" the kit mews excitedly. She sits down next to Dragonclaw.

dragonclaw purrs."who do you want to be your mentor?" she asks

Cherrykit didn't hesitate to answer. "YOU!" she squeaks, "Or Mothtail." Mothtail was a wise warrior tom with light grey fur and extra fur on his haunches.

"me?" Dragonclaw purred. "I think you'll make a great warrior Cherrykit." she said and licked her on the head.

Cherrykit giggles. "Thanks!"

"is your ceremony today or tomorrow?" she asked

"Tomorrow!" Cherrykit bounces in anticipation.

"great! and just between you and me, I was picked as your mentor!" Dragonclaw's eyes were shining

"Really!?" Cherrykit mews, "Yay!" She runs around Dragonclaw singing: I'm almost an apprentice! And Dragonclaw is my mentor!

"shh!" Dragonclaw whispered. "it's a secret!" her eyes glimmered with amusment

Cherrykit, still running around, looks at Dragonclaw. "Okay! Sorry!" she whispers as she runs into the side of the Warrior's Den. *BUMP!* "Ow!" she says, rubbing her head.

"you better get a good nights rest cherrykit!" Dragonclaw nudges her to her feet and gently propells cherrykit in the direction of the nusery

"Yeah, I guess so." Cherrykit yawned, "I want to sleep in the nursery one more time before I be an apprentice! Goodnight, Dragonclaw! See you tomorrow!" Cherrykit looks around the Nursery before going to sleep.
~~THE NEXT AFTERNOON~~

Cherrykit could hardly sit still up on the High Rock beside Froststar, a sliver and blue tom, the leader of ThunderClan. "Today, we have a few kits becoming apprentices today." meowed Froststar. "First, Cherrykit." Cherrykit almost fell of the huge rock as she stood up and nodded at Froststar. Froststar looked at Cherrykit. "You're mentor will be Dragonclaw." he meowed loud enough for everycat to hear. Cherrykit bounded down the High Rock to Dragonclaw, which she approached calmly. She sat down with her mentor and respectively touched noses with her.ooc: Blah Blah Blah. Ghostkit=Ghostpaw=Treetail, Fernkit=Fernpaw=Mothtail, Poppykit=Poppypaw=Willowtooth

there was a speck of pride in dragonclaw's eye. "what should we do first?"

Cherrypaw was bouncing around. "I don't know! You're the mentor! And now my name is Cherrypaw!"

"ok then." Dragonclaw says happily. "we can see all the other caln's borders! lets go!" and she charges through the entrance, as excited as her apprentice
