    Echopelt growled at himself. Why was he so unfocused? So irresponsible? He could not possibly be even an apprentice, much less a deputy. He failed everycat. He failed himself. He failed the clan. But most importantly, he failed Reedstar. He wasn't a cat. He was a failure. His own tears soaked the grass below him as tears spilled from his blood red eyes. He dug a hole, then buried himself in it. At the top he wrote his own tombstone in the dirt. He wrote,

    R.I.P
    Failure
    Everyone gave him everything he ever wished for. He threw it away like it was nothing. Now he is nothing but a failure. To everycat who comes across here - never take your friends, your family, or YOUR LOVE for granted. ~ Echopelt, the failure.

    Oceanfire looked around for Echopelt, she came across a grave labled Failure

    Echopelt would and could barely breathe. The dirt that covered him kept him closed from the outside. He knew he was going to die. And he deserved it. Suddenly, he felt a presence. He didn't bother though. Just another cat. Just another reason.

    OOC: To Your Pet Cat: Would you like to die or not?


    Reedstar went into the forest and found Oceanfire standing over a grave that said RIP Failure *lots of soppy writing* ~Echopelt, the Failure. "We have to dig him up!" Reedstar cried. She dug her paws into the ground until she felt Echopelt's limp body. "No! My deputy can't be dead!"

    "Let's go. We have a dangerously short supply of marigold. We had better go to the lakeshore to get the marigold." They walked out of the cave.

    Oceanfire started digging the grave



    ooc: can Oceanfire have a crush on the deputy

    OOC: If Oceanfire will have a crush on Echopelt, then I would not like him to die. And I approve of Oceanfire's crush.


    Echopelt was near death. He saw light. But not the light of StarClan. The light of Earth. He saw two shadows standing above him. He coughed. His eyes adjusted to the bright light. He was surprised at what he saw. "Reedstar..? Oceanfire...?! You dug me up after all the things I did?" he asked. He felt so much shame. He never thought they would came back after everything. Reedstar and Oceanfire were such perfect cats. Strong, nice, patient, beautiful... Why did he do this?

    "of course we dug you out, we couldn't lose one of the best cats in the Clan." Oceanfire smiled

    "One of the best cats... in the clan?" Echopelt said. By now his heart of stone had melted into a liquidy mess of lava. Oceanfire was taking a blowtorch and turning it even liquidier. Soon, it would be just an evaporated... Thing. Echopelt had to face it. He was in love. Again.
