    Finally the ceremony was over. "Do you want to start training woth Mallowpaw and Mountainpaw?" Reedstar asked. "Yeah!" her apprentice chimed in.

    Echopelt stared at Mallowpaw with an intimidating look. "I guess we should start training now, shouldn't we?" he asked.

    Flowerpaw and Reedstar bounded over to Echopelt and Mallowpaw. "Do you guys want to start training with us?" he asked. "Flowerpaw's first apprentice mission is going to be going hunting. I'm going to teach her how to catch a mouse, and maybe a bird or fish." :D :P 8)

    "I would be satisfied. What about you, Mallowpaw?" He tried to hide the fact that again, he was trying not to blush.

    Red cheeks on a white cat. It suited Echopelt well. >:D "I'll come with you, Mallowpaw, if you want to try hunting."

    Eaglefur sat in his medicine den, thinking about what types of herbs he should collect. Feverfew, burdock root, yarrow, comfrey, catmint . . .

    ( Echolelt is all white with red eyes. That's what albino means. :P Also, can you please make Mallowpaw say somehing? I can't just repeat "so?". )

    Echopelt looked at Mallowpaw, his blush faded to an unnoticeable shade of pale pink, making him look much more intiimidating. "So?"


    OOC: I know there's no powerplaying, but if you really want me to . . . .


    "Yeah! Yeah!" Mallowpaw cheered. "I'm going to be the best hunter in all of Rippleclan!" "Except me," Flowerpaw silkily told her brother. "Oh yeah! Bet I'll catch more than you!" Mallowpaw teased. The two apprentices ran into the forest, leaving Reedstar and Echopelt to chase after them.

    ( What are you talking about? Mallowpaw is your character... ??? )

    Echopelt ran after Mallowpaw. "Wait up!" he yelled.

    OOC: Mallowpaw . . . no. I'm only Reedstar and Eaglefur.


    Reedstar bounded over to Flowerpaw. "Here's how to catch a mouse. Drop into a crouch, and sneak toward the mouse. Then pounce and bite it's spine or neck." Reedstar ended up with a mouse in her jaws.

    OOC: In Rippleclan you can have three characters. I'm going to be one of Autumntail's kits.


    After training, Reedstar went back to the camp. Autumntail walked up to her. "Reedstar! I'm having Cedarblaze's kits!" "Congratulations!" Reedstar said. "How many are you having?"

    Two moons passed, and suddenly a shriek came from the nursery. "AAAHHHH!" Eaglefur ran to the nursery to see what was going on. Cedarblaze also came rushing over. "Autumntail's having her kits," Reedstar moaned. She padded into the nursery. Autumntail was busy licking three kits. "What are their names?" Eaglefur asked. "This one is Nettlekit," Autumntail said, pointing to a brown tabby kit. "This one is Foxkit," pointing to a mousy brown kit. "And this is Lilykit," she said, gesturing towards the last one, a pale white kit with a startling pink nose. "They're beautiful," Reedstar said. "Thank you."


    OOC: Can I be Foxkit?

    ( 1. I'm not Mallowpaw either. 2. I'd like to be a queen.

    Looks: Tan with a white spot on her eye.


    Skills: Very nurturing and very good at hiding things, including herself.


    Mate: A kittypet named Montana, but he was killed by Echopelt >:D

    Echopelt had been listening in. He padded up to them. "Hm," he grunted.

    OOC: Is it supposed to say Ecruspirit, because I don't know what ecru ??? is? (Also, if you want, you can choose to be one more character.) Also, from now on, Reedstar is yellow, Eaglefur is blue, and Foxkit is brown.


    "Oh, hello Echopelt. These are Autumntail's kits. "Foxkit. Lilykit. Nettlekit. They seem very promising. How do you like them?" Reedstar was filled with joy because of Autumntail's kits.


    [color=blue]Eaglefur heard Reedstar explaining the kit's names to Echopelt. Then he stepped in. "They are beautiful kits, and it doesn't seem like you show any appreciation for them!" Oops! What have I done?


    [color=brown]Foxkit saw Reedstar pointing at her. I must be very special, she thought, if Reedstar is pointing at me.

    OOC: Ecru is a yellowish-brown color. Little lighter than khaki.


    Echopelt turned sharply at him, glaring for a few seconds then turning back slowly. "The kits seem very promising..." he said, slightly smiling.


    Ecruspirit watched a dark brown ball of fur speed around with the other kits. She stared at them, smiling. She was careful to stay away from Echopelt because she was afraid and angry at him. She had been that way for many moons.

    OOC: Oh . . . oops.
    Okay, maybe Echopelt isn't the ideal deputy yet. Something's going on with him,Reedstar thought. "Echopelt. Come here, and that's an order. I want to talk with you. Come into my den."


    What's up with Echopelt? Eaglefur thought. First the kits, and now it's just plain weird.


    [color=brown]"Yay!" Foxkit raced around her mother. "Mom! Mom! Can we go exploring!? Mom! Mom!"

    Echopelt nodded. "Yes, Reedstar." As he followed Reedstar, he worried what was wrong. Then a flashback hit him. He was walking along when he saw Ecruspirit and Montana, a kittypet. At this time, Echopelt had a relationship with Ecruspirit. He was blinded with rage when Montana mentioned the idea of their kits. "They had... KITS?!" he thought. A force overtook him and he exploded with rage. He attacked Montana, making a fatal attack. The kittypet didn't stand a chance. He fell to the ground, limp. Echopelt walked away as Ecruspirit tried her best to tend to Montana. Echopelt whispered, "Why?" He then realized what he had done. "Why?" he whispered again, but this time to himself. He was a monster. He ran as far as he could. The dream then faded back into reality. Echopelt realized that force was coming again. He still followed Reedstar, but he walked more slowly.

    "Make yourself at home, Echopelt. It's time for us to have a serious talk." >:( "What is going on with you? You've been acting very strange with Autumntail's kits. Must I appoint a different mentor for Mallowpaw? I would prefer not to embarrass you in front of the whole Clan, except I may not have a choice. Then Reedstar saw a flash of movement outside of the door to her cave. She padded over to the exit and peered out. Foxkit! "Foxkit. Have you been spying on me and Echopelt?" Oh boy. What if she brags to Lilykit and Nettlekit?


    Eaglefur woke up and started to arrange his herbs. He was shocked that Echopelt seemed so untrustworthy.


    What now? Foxxkit thought. I'm a terrible spy. Foxkit got chewed out by Reedstar, then she left to play with her brother and sister, and Dirtkit too, if the kit wanted to.

    Echopelt looked at Reedstar, then Foxkit. He didn't glare at Foxkit or look disappointed, because he only had thoughts about what he was going to say. He wanted to tell Reedstar about his memories with Ecruspirit and Montana, but at the same time he felt that it would make him seem... He tried to find the word for it. Unfocused. Well, he was unfocused. He had killed an innocent cat. At the same time, Ecruspirit had an affair with another cat, when Echopelt was her mate. Not only another cat, a kittypet! So Echopelt would tell Reedstar anyway. He waited for her to turn around.


    Meanwhile, Dirtkit was Ecruspirit's spy, hiding in the dirt which camoflauged him so well. He would listen, then when Echopelt and Reedstar were finished, he would dash off from the side of the entrance to the nursery, where he would tell Ecruspirit everything.


    Ecruspirit watched her kit in case anything went wrong.
