He's Broken...Rude...And Arrogant...Can you get to his heart?

    Smokepaw walked steadily into camp, wondering what to do. He wondered where his mentor was.

    She saw Smokepaw looking for someone. She figured it was his mentor she called out "Our mentors are on a patrol."

    Smokepaw curled his claws in annoyance. "Yeah, well, I wasn't looking for my mentor." he bared his teeth angrily. "It's not like she ever trains with me anyways, know what I'm sayin'? World ain't fair like that." he muttered.


    The leader called together a clan meeting just before Reefpaw could answer. Blackpaw was made an apprentice.


    "Smokepaw!" Silverpaw called, bunding forward after the ceremony. She pushed his side forward so that he was forced to walk with her. "Let's go hunting," she murmured. "Our mentors are always so busy."


    Smokepaw felt his pelt glow with heat. He shoved out of the way. "More like so busy taking care of themselves and not for nobody else."


    Blackpaw went up to them. "Yeah," he said, not knowing how to talk like Smokepaw.

    Reefpaw recoiled at Smokepaw's Hurtful words. "I was just trying to help" she muttered. The leader called a ceremony. Blackpaw was made an apprentice.
    She padded up to Blackpaw. "Congrats Blackpaw" she with a smile "Now your one of us. Like its any fun anyway" she joked. "Anyone want to train?" she asked looking at Silverpaw, Smokepaw and Blackpaw. "Since our mentors don't I figured we could ourselves"

    Smokepaw scowled. "Sounds pretty off what's on, get me?" He padded away, Silverpaw following. "I'll...I'll train with you," Blackpaw stuttered. He turned and watched the others leave for a while. Then he said,"Actually, I better leave too." he scrambled away.

    She sighed sadly. "Oh well.." she said dissapointed. She padded back to her den to go to sleep. "No one likes me anyway" she said silent tears falling.

    Smokepaw, annoyed at how Reefpaw was getting so mixed up about nothing, but more annoyed that he was the one that caused it, stalked out of camp after a while. He headedbackto the old ash tree.


    Silverpaw was busy talking imoatiently with Blackpaw.

    She got up, I'm useless sleeping here, she thought to herself. She went off to go hunting. A good run in the forest is something I need. She thought to herself again. She caught a mouse, burried it and went to sit by the lake. The waves were beautiful.

    Reefpaw was sitting by the when suddenly someone cast a big shadow. She turned around and saw a Huge badger behind her, she screeched so very loud. She backed up until she slipped into the lake. The badger came thundering towards her.

    Smokepaw heard the screech and his ear flicked forward in alarm. He forced his tired muscles up and ran towards the noise. Blackpaw cringed at the scream. Silverpaw went to check it out in curiosity.

    She leapt at the badger and it swatted her aside. She hit a tree. She forced herself to get up and keep going. She jumped on it's back and latched on with her claws biting the back of its head.

    Smokepaw lunged for the side of its neck as it turned in reaction to Reefpaw's bite. He bared sharp white fangs and attempted to sink them in its neck.


    Silverpaw growled in annoyance. That cat can't stay out of trouble, can she? I'm not going to get myself into something that some stupid other cat started.


    Blackpaw watched, his tail flicking with fear.


    More warriors began rushing towards the sound.

    Reefpaw was over joyed that someone had come to help her. She was grateful that Smokepaw had came. She and Smokepaw took the badger down and he other warriors finished it off. Reefpaw and Smokepaw were directed back to camp. Reefpaw started back to camp. "Coming?" she asked Smokpaw. "I know your tough but you probably should get the medicine cat to look you over." she joked. "oh and thanks for coming to help me" she smiled.

    Smokepaw fluffed up his fur, his scratches looking mild. "I'm a lot less hurt than some warriors, so herbs shouldn't be wasted on me."

    "yeah but if the scratches get infected then you will need more herbs. Plus I doubt the med. cat will let you get past" she smiled.

    Smokepaw whiskers twitched with annoyance at how stubborn she was being. "Then fine, I'll stay out here." He pushed away, back to the clearing at the edge of the territory.

    She was getting annoyed. "so your just going to leave?" she snarled.


    Occ: are they ever going to get together? ;) or does she have a better chance with Blackpaw? ;)

    "oh" she said the anger melting off her. "well when you decide to come back, I'll be in the medicine den..." she said slowly walking towards the camp.
