    IC:blackstar yawned, and leapt up the rock. she was most likely the youngest leader here

    Darkstar flashed a glance at her deputy, almost a smug one... a glance that said, good job to Blackclan.... that kitnapping was a lot of fun.... She smiled at Valleystar, and stepped forward lightly. "Blackclan is thriving! We have many young additions to our clan, courtesy of Valleyclan." she meowed, smooth as syrup. "Prey is plentiful, and Blackclan has been successful." She dipped her head in mock respect to Valleystar, and stepped back, waiting for the other leaders to respond.

    Jadepaw tried not to glare at Darkstar, announcing the raid and kitnapping at a gathering like this, just to make ValleyClan seem weak.

    IC:Blackstar looked over and waited. It was her first gathering as leader, and she didn't want to make a fool of herself but.... "scarclan is thriving also. I have gathered the remnants of twisted clan, along with some former allies, and we grow in size each day!" she dipped her head and backed up.



    Nightmagic watched through narrowed eyes.

    Valleystar, who had waited patiently to speak, stepped forward defiantly. "Congratulations, Blackstar," she meowed, and glared at Darkstar. "Valleyclan has recovered from the cowardly raid of Blackclan- how unreasonable that you should attack helpless kits and elders!" she meowed, her voice cold as steel. "But, Valleyclan is still strong, and we will be ready for next time." She stepped down, and looked for Jadepaw in the crowd.

    Valleystar shrugged, embarrassed for her clan. Then she sat down next to Jadepaw and Caveback, and settled back to watch the last leaders present their clans.


    Miststar stepped forward lightly. "I am not aware of that issue, Darktar," she meowed, "But I should think is it not a little to overwhelming that you would go, and, and, end the youngest of young lives?" She spoke with a long pause in between each sentence, as if she expected some other cat to respond right then. Then from the back of the place, she heard a voice yowling "Get to your own clan already! We're starving to get home!" "Mistclan is thriving. We are actively going about our duties, and making the best of our ancestor's bountiful gift of prey this season. Thank you." She finished, and sat back on the branch.

    Scorchpaw of Mistclan huddled next to Lacedflower, her mentor. "Why are Valleystar and Darkstar so mad?" he blurted out.

    Miststar flicked her tail over the apprentice's shoulder. "Its the kitnapping," she reassured him.

    Jadepaw looked at her leader. They had some kind of strong bond. Jadepaw lost her mother when she was just a young kit, and she looked up to Valleystar as a mother figure. She loved it when Valleystar praised her, and wanted to please her in every way. "You did a very nice job telling off DarkClan." Jadepaw whispered.

    Valleystar wrapped her tail over her paws, and looked at Jadepaw fondly. "Oh, they're just a bunch of scalawags," she announced in a whisper. "Darkstar was once a Valleyclanner you know." Then she licked Jadepaw's ears. "But I suppose I've told you the tale of the mixed up kits and how Skyheart ended up as Darkstar, Blackclan's leader all too many times." The pale she-cat gave a cat-ish grin. "I'm getting old, and so are you," she joked, "So its time you got your name!" The leader disappeared in a crowd of chatting cats.

    Jadepaw's eyes followed after Valleystar. "My full name." The thought with proudness.

    Hmmm..... do you wanna start over and make a new one? You can keep your character, but the other people are gone, and I lost the thread too...
