Roadkit bounced down from the branch and padded into the camp.

Dayta smiled, purring slightly "No problem, Prowl."
-
[align=center][tt]Ratchet sighed when they finally reached camp, he trotted over to his den and grabbed all the herbs he needed.
-
"Hurry." Shadow croaked weakly, feeling colder.
-
[align=center][tt]"This might hurt a little.." Ratchet said, preparing to snap her bones back into place.
-
"Higjly doubtful," she chuckled. "I can't feel a thing."
-
[align=center][tt]Ratchet frowned then began to snap her bones back into place.
-
Shadow only felt a slight pain, like a thorn poking into her. Everything else was dull numbness.
-
[align=center][tt]Ratchet finished setting the bones then began working on the other injuries.
-
Shadow laid quietly, her eye lids fluttering.
-
[align=center][tt]Ratchet finished applying the different herbs to the wounds then covered them with cobwebs. "You'll need to sleep in my den for a few moons."
-
"Alright.... Hatchet. When's the quickest I'll be up and kickin' again?" She asked.
-
[align=center][tt]"Maybe three or four moons from now." replied the moody medic, beginning to drag the bark towards his den.
-
"Aww...." Shadow huffed, knowing she'd probably drive him insane by then.
-
[align=center][tt]Ratchet drug it into his den and over to the nests, he gently rolled her into the nest and dispossed of the bark. He plopped down in his nest, which was a few nests away from Shadow's, and heaved an exaughsted sigh.
-
Shadow watched him quietly. "Do you get lonely here, Ratchet?" She asked quietly, moving her head.
-
[align=center][tt]"Sometimes." he replied, resting his tail over his nose and presisting to look at the wall.
-
Shadow killed the conversation, moving her head to rest against her chest. She laid awake, unable to fall asleep.
-
[align=center][tt]Ratchet almost immidiately fell asleep, rolling over to face Shadow. His usual dream of his old mate, who was dead, started just after he closed his eyes. A soft whimper escaped him.
-
Shadow looked up, watching him curiously. What's wrong with him? she wondered to herself.
