Darkpaw narrowed her eyes at her brother, she knew he wouldn't speak now.

As Neverpaw gazed at the siblings she wondered why they had ceased to speak. She glanced back at Elpida and Counterkit, and shot the two older kit's a gentle smile, before returning her attention back to the brother and sister. "So," she said finally, flicking her tail around her paws as she sat comfortably, "What've you been learning lately? she asked, spontaniously changing subject to avoid an impending conflict.
-
Counterkit noticed Neverpaw's smile and slightly blushed. The young tom just wanted to get away from all of these cats. Quickly, he dashed off, trying to find a place where he could be alone. He finally chose a spot that was in the nursery in a corner. He sat their, still stare at everyone with fear and anxiety. Counterkit had a frown set on his face. The young blue tom sat alone, finally happy about his choice to be in solitude. Claws scratching the dirt and grass.

"Just some fighting moves, hunting techniques" meowed Ravenpaw, it might be normal for him, but wasn't so sure what medicine cat apprentices do, apart from learning what herb was what.
-
She nodded slightly, would Neverpaw's life have been better if she had followed the life of a normal apprentice. Waited only a few moons for DarkIntentions to overthrow Blazingstar and ban the position of slave so Neverpaw was a regular apprentice? Maybe it would have, NEverpaw would have been able to fight back when she was seized... in fact she would have never been out there. Then she felt a bit guilty, NEverpaw hated what had happened that day so long ago, but she did not hate the wonderful balls of fur that were her kits. "Oh," she said quietly, thinking about the lie she lived.
-
Ravenpaw tilted his head to the side when Neverpaw responded "hey Neverpaw" the scruffy tom started out then added "What exactly do you learn as a medicine cat apprentice?"
-
NEverpaw looked up.
"Well, we learn alot of how to heal people, how to keep a wound from festering, and how to save a frost bitten kit. We learn a lot of healing." she said, and then she spoke softly. "But we learn how to kill as well, how to lace fresh-kill with nightshade, incase another Tatteredstar comes along. How to crush the juices of a death berry into a polituce for open wounds. We take precautions, if there is a dangerouse cat in the clan, he might just suddenly end up dead." she said softly, the art of killing a cat with herbs was a hard one. But one Neverpaw had learned, to keep herself, and her family safe from harm. "But in order for one of us to use such things all must agree, before Twilightmoon will get some out of her secret hiding place for them." she said. -
Ravenpaw nodded, and here he thought that medicine cats are just here to save cats. "Never thought medicine cats could be sneaky" the scruffy tom basically whispered.
-
Neverpaw heard this all though only barely.
You know so little.
she said, remembering how she had smuggled Tigerblood, the insane murderer, who was Flucht's mother out of camp. -
Watching Counterkit walk off, Elpida let out a quiet sigh. It was known that he wasn't exactly one of the most friendly kit around, but still, it felt like everyone had been ignoring her lately. Getting up herself, she slipped back into the nursery to see if any of her siblings were finally willing to play.
