  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=pink bordercolor=gray borderwidth=11px]Keller Emerson walked cautiously out on the sidewalk of the busy New York street as people bustled busily around. A woman carrying a grocery bag struggled with her young daughter, while the man next to her just watched. Keller shook his head in disgust. What man is as impolite as that?! The man seemed to not notice the woman and walked away. In Wisconsin he would have offered to carry the bags to her car! Here he just walked away!" A girl caught Keller's eye. She was beautiful.

  • Kailyn Cross, pushed a strand of hair out of her face. She saw the woman struggling and went to help her.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=pink bordercolor=gray borderwidth=11px]Keller watched the girl carefully and walked slowly to where she stood. A bee buzzed in his ear and he tried to shoo it away, but, instead, got stung. "D*amn," he muttered as he arrived up to four feet away from the girl. A thought crept into his head. I wonder if she's like me...

  • [fancypost bgcolor=pink bordercolor=gray borderwidth=11px]When he almost had reached the girl who first caught his attention, another girl had captured it. The mother with the little girl was being helped and Keller felt he needed to help, too. He hurried back and knelled down. "Let me help you." The woman smiled at him. "Thank you," the mother sighed. Keller glanced at the teenage girl.

  • Kaitlyn smiled at him and comforted the little girl. She picked her up and led the girl's mother across the street.

  • Jewel turned to Kenna, running over to her. She was in an outside service for college, helping new kids to the NY. "Hey there!" she said to Kenna, adjusting her giant glasses. "I'm Jewel. If you need it, I'd be happy to help you!" Her scrunched up ponytail bobbed up and down as she talked. She bowed in apology to the mother before turning back to Kenna. "What school are you attending?"

Allen smirked as he picked some idiot's pocket. Too easy in New York. He emptied the wallet of cash, tossing the piece of leather back on the sidewalk. He bumped behind Keller, saying his apologies before sneaking his hand to his pocket.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=pink bordercolor=gray borderwidth=11px]Keller nodded to the boy and placed the groceries in the car that she had pointed out. "Thank you so much!" the lady gushed. Keller smiled. "No problem." He walked over to Allen. "Do you know anything about those three girls?" he asked, pointing to each one.

  • Allen pocketed the wallet he snagged, turning to Keller. Definitely new. You could just tell. He blew a strand of hair from his eyes. He turned to the three girls. "Four-eyes is Jewel Yung. Head of the class. Second one, Kailyn Cross. Don't ask me how I know. Third one, no idea. Some kinda new girl to New York." He faced Keller. "My name's, Allen. Allen Lydner. Don't tell the cops it." He smiled to show he was kidding.
Jewel turned to Kailyn, bowing again. "Hi to you too!" she said.

  • "Four eyes will never get a date, Kailyn I dunno, and the new girl, most likely not." The wind blew his hair too, and he glared up at the helicopter flying too near the ground. Stupid thing. The thief turned back to Keller. "Nice meetin' ya, Fish. But...." Police sirens began to wail. "Gotta run." He disappeared in the bustling crowd.

  • The bespectacled girl turned to Keller, blinking. "Hey there! Do you need something?" She was from California, so she was more used to crowds like these. But the people were pretty rude.

  • "Hi," Kaitlyn wasn't exactly fond of Jewl. She walked over to the boy she had seen earlier. "Hey," she said, absentmindedly twirling a piece of her hair.

  • Olivia Roberts walked across the sidewalk, she was new to NY and had no idea where to go.

  • She smiled. "I'm Kaitlyn Cross, and you are? I saw you help that woman, normally people don't do that."
