StarClan Has Spoken {Everybody}

"Im Rootpaw!" she purrd to the two. "Or did I already mention that?" she giggled. Her chest rumbling with the cute sound. "Nice to meet you two! Leopardleaf and Cinderstripe." She dipped her head to each as she said their names.

"Hello rootpaw" cinderstripe meowed dipping her head respectfuly. Leopardleaf meowed greeting too." may we join you clan?"

"Oh my baby." Lunecry pressed her head against her son's cheek. Smelling him and feeling his presence once again after so long. "Cranekit died...other than that, though...I guess you could say...well, we have a new leader and deputy. Scarredstar, and Gravelstorm."

Waterskipper was on the other side of her grandson, showering him with affection as well.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Actually, at the moment he was trying to remember who Cranekit was. Call him a good... whatever he was to Cranekit. Uncle? Nephew? Cousin? Acepaw frowned. "What happened to Dreamstar? And how'd you know Ravenpelt was dead?"

"I didn't know Ravenpelt was dead, that's horrible!" said Lunecry. "We assumed they were both dead but no bodies were found."

"Fireflight and others found the body," said Orchidpaw. "All the way down at Bloodclan. We don't know how he even got there."

Rootpaw shuffled embarrassed. Hanging her head slightly low she mewed, "I-im not sure. Im just an apprentice.. You should ask Scarredstar." She flicked her tail to the new leader. "Hes there."

Leopardleaf nodded " can you fetch him for use rootpaw? I don't feel confertable with all eyes on us"

Acepaw's fur bristled at the thought, and his jaw tightened. "He must've come along." But Orchidpaw had been running everything -- if Ravenpelt had been there, why hadn't he? But they weren't going to get any answers. "Uh... did you ever find Splotchpaw?" He'd really just remembered about his sister. Hadn't she run off again when he'd left?

"Uhm... " Rootpaw smiled, having an idea. "When he calls me up to get my mentor, Ill mention you two to him. Hold on till then. Kay?"

"I don't think he came with us, he would've shown himself, maybe he tried to scout the place our before we did," said Orchidpaw. Shaking her head she said, "I'll be in the med den with Eastpaw. Be back soon!"

She took off to catch up with her friend.

Lunecry realised just how much she had to catch him up on. "Yes! We found her! Her two kits and her are all living in our nest."

Leopardleaf and cinderstripe nodded. " thanks rootpaw" cinderstripe purred

Silverkit shrugged her shoulders, unhappy now because he thoughts had turned to her mother. "Yeah... whatever." She muttered after the warrior.

"Yep!" Rootpaw replied to Cinderstripe. She turned to look at Scarredstar. He was stalling. Probably trying to figure out which cats needed apprentices.

"Hey?" she meowed aloud. "Any warriors need apprentices?!" the young she-cat called to the other cats in the clearing.

ooc: anyone free to mentor Snipepaw and Rootpaw? :)

Gravelkit spotted his other nephew and greeted him with a yelp. "Acey!" he grinned and attempted to tackle-glompf-hug him in the same manner in which he greeted Orchidpaw.

You will be mentor to Silverpaw. Silvershade, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of patience and happiness. I’m sure you will pass this on to your apprentice. Silversun, you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to Sandpaw. Silversun, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of strength and ability. I’m sure you will pass this on to your apprentice. I, Scarredstar, will be mentoring Titterpaw.”

The tom turned his head and glanced at the last two apprentices. They were older and needed to have new mentors. ”I call upon my warrior ancestors to give these apprentices new mentors. Rootpaw and Snipepaw, you have lost your first mentors, so your new mentors will be Dirtleg and Featherglow.”

There was one last thing he was sure that he needed to do. That was making a new warrior. Instead of exhausting the tom, this was making him feel great. ”I, Scarredstar, leader of WindClan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Hawkpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?”</blockquote>

ooc: I'm almost sure Featherglow already has an apprentice, but Peo could say otherwise, though I think from the way she was posting with an apprentice earlier in the thread she does.

ic: Dirtleg walked over to his new apprentice with a smile on his face. This would be his second and he was so excited to have the oppurtunity again. "Hi Rootpaw, I'm Dirtleg," the red cameo told his apprentice.

ooc: So Rootpaw - Dirtleg, and Snipepaw - Featherglow? :3 cool!

The tuxedo tomcat grinned. He glanced around for Featherglow. Who was that again? This Windclan apprentice wasn't so sure he knew. Still he wanted to walk up to her and get training right away! Snipepaw decided he should also congratulate the younger cats for becoming apprentices. "Whitepaw! Silverpaw! Titterpaw! Sandpaw! an' Gravelpaw!" he hollared.

Unlike Snipepaw, Rootpaw began calling the new apprentices immediately after they were given mentors. "WHITEPAW, SILVERPAW, TITTERPAW, SANDPAW AND GRAVELPAW!" she shouted delightfully. The purring in glee, she glanced around for Dirtleg. The pretty Abyssinian wanted to find her mentor.

When he came up to her, the young she-cat touched her nose to his. "Hey! And Im Rootpaw!" she purred, her tail swishing happily.

Tears streamed down Waterskipper's face as her two kits were named. "I'm so proud!"

Lunecry sat nearby, also proud.

ooc: Orchidpaw is probably ready for her ceremony esp. because of her bravery in the war,but she is in the medicine den getting Eastpaw treated...lol she won't be happy when she finds out she missed her aunt and uncle's naming XD

OOC: Peo said that Featherglow was free to mentor. Guess she'll have to tell us. What name would you like, Wynn?
