Lightsky had buried her other kit nearby her birthing den, and now Bluekit and Bravekit was all she had left. Bluekit had seemed to have sucked the strength right out of the other kit, as Lightsky had expected her and Bravekit to die sunrises after the other one did.
She picked Bluekit up by the scruff and flung Bravekit on her back and began the journey back to camp.
