  • Pinewhisker closed his eyes for a moment, stopping dead, not moving; savoring the moment. He licked her neck one more time before standing up straighter, lifting his chin off her head and backing up, smiling brightly at her. He aimed to push his paw into her face playfully before meowing, "Sure!"

  • Wintercloud couldn't help but smile at the tom and her tail waved happily behind her. But as she saw a paw coming toward her face she playfully batted it away with her left paw. The warrior then leaped backward, so she was now at least a tail length away from the tom. Wintercloud gave a playful smirk as she didn't really give any warning before she shouted. "Go!" And then the she-cat darted behind her starting the challenge rather quickly.

  • The warriors ears perked as she heard pawsteps coming from behind. She took the chance to quickly glance over her shoulder and saw the familiar red tabby pelt, almost caughting up with her. Why is he following me? Does he want to hunt with me? Sudden questions popped up into her mind but she turned her head around and continued to run. Luckily for this she-cat, she could multy task. So she had her jaws opened letting the scents around her touch the gland in the back of her throat. Wintercloud quickly caught the scent of a vole, her favorite prey, and veered off toward the left following the scent. But she soon slowed down to a trot so she wouldn't scare the small creature away.

  • Pinewhisker blew right past the she-cat when she stopped, scaring off the vole and any other prey around. "Winter? Why did you stop?" he cocked his head sideways.

  • 'Darn!" The pure white she-cat hissed under her breath as she watched the small creature bound away from the racket Pinewhisker had made. Instead of answering him with words, she pointed toward the direction where the vole was running, it still visible as it raced over a log.

  • Pinewhisker frowned at Wintercloud. The red tabby Tom reached out with his tail to playfu
Ly flick the white she-cat's shoulder. "Wintercloud, we were racing. Not hunting."

  • This she-cat couldn't stay mad at the red tabby for very long. So Wintercloud just gave a small smile. "Yes but I love voles, so I wanted to catch one." The warrior explained why she had stopped running and had started to hunt the vole as she felt the toms tail playfully flick her shoulder.

  • The Tom let a smile spread across his maw as he purred. "How about you go back to camp and get some sleep," he pointed to the sky to show that it was getting awfully dark out, "and when you wake up, there will be a nice, fresh, juicy vole."

  • The deputy jumped up like a excited kitten who was just given its apprentice name. "Sure!" Wintercloud mewed quite quickly as she started to quickly padd toward camp. But as she passed by Pinewhisker, she gave the tom a quickly lick on the cheek, before continuing her jog back toward camp, her eyes gleaming with happiness.

  • Pinewhisker smiled broadly as she licked him, happy to have a new good friend. But was she only that? He had no clue.
The red tabby Tom trotted through the forest until he couldn't smell anything like HawkClan anymore. He searched and searched until he found the right place. A small waterfall cascading into a large pool with surrounding trees. There outta be a vole in there somewhere.

Finally, Pinewhisker walked back to camp, head held high, a vole's ear clamped inbetween his teeth. There were no visible bite marks. This was a perfect piece of fresh kill.
He dove into the Warrior's den, dropping the vole next to Wintercloud. Slowly, he shook her shoulder.

  • The newly named deputy walked into the camp calmly and quickly jogged to the warrior den. She didn't really feel any different since she had become deputy, which felt weird for her. Wasn't there supposed to be a sense of respect if you get a very good rank in a clan? Well it sure didn't feel like it to this she-cat. Wintercloud was then quickly lost in her thoughts as she layed in the warrior den. Soon all of her thoughts dropped her into sleep.

Wintercloud woke up with a little start feeling someone paw at her shoulder. At first she thought that something was wrong, maybe a battle, or something happening to Willowstar or Whitestar. But she quickly relaxed once she saw a red tabby standing over her. Giving a sigh of relief, she caught the scent of something, fresh, and tasty. The slim pure white she-cat then glanced down and saw a plump vole placed directly in front of her. The she-cat purred wildly at the tom as she nuzzled right under his neck. "Its perfect! Thank you!" Wintercloud mewed excitedly, almost like a kitten.

  • Wintercloud purred loudly as she finally looked up at the tom. "Now I have to get you something. Whats your favorite prey?" The pure white she-cat asked excitedly as she wanted to pay the red tabby back.

  • Wintercloud purred as the tom licked the tom of her head. "I don't have to. But I want to. You got something for me, now its my turn." The pure white she-cat explained on why she wanted to get a piece of prey for him, her gold gaze gleaming.

  • Wintercloud then pretended to pout. "Awww. Pwease??" Wintercloud tryed to hold in a chuckle, but it soon got out as she sounded like a kit wanting something.

  • Wintercloud purred leaning into his red fur. But then her expression showed that she was upset, but in a joke kind of way. "Thats no fair Pinewhisker. At least let me do something for you!" Wintercloud playfully complained.
