  • Morningsong walked out of the warriors den. She looked around camp. The leaders den was right over a fallen tree, the medicine den was nicely decorated by bushes on either side. The nursery was hidden from enemies by being half underground. Only if you squezzed yourself you could get in.

  • OOC: Name: Loudpaw/Loudfoot
    Gender: tom
    Rank: Apprentice
Apperance: White smooth pelt, with black paws, and a black tail tip. He has Bright blue eyes, and a black head.
    Persona: You'll see...

    IC: The wind...did something....

  • OOC: you just want me to be your mentor? This should be fun.

IC: Morningsong met up with Loudpaw. "Morning. How are you?" The sun was out, not a cloud in the sky.

  • "That's good. I want to get some training in with you later today. First, let's get some fresh kill for the fresh kill pile." she waved her tail signaled him to follow her.

  • Morningsong led Loudpaw out of camp. She knew the best places to hunt. They finally arrived at the thickest area of the forest.

  • "What now?" Loudpaw asked, making loud noises with his abnormal large feet.

  • "Okay," she started, "first, try to be as quiet as possible. Once you spot prey," she did so, demonstrating as she went on, "then you drop down till your belly almost touches the ground. Sneak up on it then..." she pounced on a vole and killed it. "pounce!"

  • Loudpaw's eyes widened, "Wow, let me try!" Then, he scented the air, and smelled mouse. He found it, and tried to stalk it like Morningsong. But, he was putting his paws down a little too hard, so the mouse felt it, and got away. Loudpaw snarled at it.

  • Morningsong gave out a small giggle. "Try to not pound so hard with your paws," she indicated. "You did great up till then. Try again," she said with a smile. Not bad for a first try!

  • Loudpaw perked his ears up to hear that he did a good job. He the tried again. He saw a squirrel, and stalked it. He was more careful with his paws this time, but the squirrel saw him, and ran up the tree. Loudpaw followed. Climbed up the tree and caught the squirrel in the upper branches. Then looked down to yowl, "I caught it!" That's when he realized how high up he was.

  • Morningsong busted out laughing. "Great job! Now I just need to help you get out of that tree! Then we can celebrate your spoils of war!" She called up to him, "Now, just go branch to branch down the tree. Make sure you evaluate if they branch will hold you or not, otherwise you'll have a long fall."

  • Loudpaw was on his way down when he heard that last word. He dropped his catch as he mewed, "Fall?" Then he stopped.

  • Morningsong said encouragingly, "Don't worry! You'll be okay. You're doing fine!"

  • Shaking, and eyes wide with fear, Loudpaw slowly made his way down. He looked down, and closed his eyes, constantly mewling to himself he was almost there. not looking, he missed stepped, and hung there on a branch with his forepaws. "Ahhh!" he yowled, "Morningsong, HELP!"

  • Morningsong leaped up the tree and got to the branch just below Loudpaw, heart pounding. "Hang in there!" she grabbed him by his back, and accidentally slipped off the branch. The two of them fell tumbling twoards the ground. Morningsong took the brunt of the force, and Loudpaw landed on top of her. She was okay, the wind was just knocked out of her.

  • Loudpaw screeched the whole way. Then, when they landed, he stood shaking on all fours, with his fur bristling, and eyes wide with fear. "I am not climbing trees again!" he spat.

  • Morningsong coughed horridly. "Yeah, that's a good idea." she tried to shake it off. "I think that's enough hunting for now." she gave a smile. "Let's go." she limped twoards the training hollow.
