  • Mousefang was laying outside the warrior's den, admiring the night sky. He was exhausted after his first day as a ThunderClan warrior and all the duties that with the title, but he still could not sleep. He longed for someone to talk to, but he knew hardly any of the ThunderClan cats, and none of them seemed to willing to become fast friends. With a sigh, he rolled onto his side and stared idly at the grass.

  • Lightningheart padded into the Thunderclan's camp with prey in her jaws. She dropped the fresh-kill in the fresk-kill pile and yawned. It was moon-high, a very lonely time for Lightningheart. She had always been so focused on her duties she never had time to socialize with others at her clan, much less than Gatherings.

  • Mousefang's ears flicked toward the approaching she-cat, his eyes following suit soon after. He was surprised to see another cat out in the camp at this hour; most of the other cats had long since retired to their dens or were out on the night patrol. Nonetheless, he was glad to no longer be alone. Not sure of what to say, he sat up taller, hoping the she-cat would notice him.

  • Lightningheart then noticed another cat, standing a few steps away. She was quite surprised to see another cat out in the night. Usually, no cat would be there and she would just return to the warriors den. Today, it was different. She walked up to the cat. "Hi, what are you doing out so late?" she asked curiously, tilting her head to one side in question.
