"Were you going to tell?" Alex called back in response loud enough to hear over her pounding.

Annie hesitated. She didn't know what to reply; if she told the truth, which was yes, he'd kill her for sure. If she lied, he'd possibly kill her. "N-no," she lied. It sounded false even to her own ears.
-
Alex stood up off the couch he had been sitting on reading. He opened the bathroom door but use his body as a barricade to keep Annie trapped in. "No huh? Are you able to say it to my face?"
-
Annie swallowed thickly, and then stared up at him. "N-no," she said, her voice quivering. "Please let me go," she begged, but she had a feeling that he wasn't going to let her go at a simple, 'no'.
-
"Telling the truth isn't that hard!" He spat his irises growing red in anger.
(Irises are the colored part of your eye, don't mean to offend if you already knew that I was just making sure you knew.)
-
{ lol i knew n its fine (: }
"I am!" she cried, backing away. "No, I wasn't going to tell." Even though she was still lying, she seemed to sound convincing to her ears.
-
Alex narrowed his eyes, stepping away from the door he said, "Make one move to leave the house and I snap your neck."
-
"W-what happened to saying y-you weren't going to k-kill me?" she asked in a trembling voice, pressed against the wall.
-
"I haven't killed you yet have I?" he hissed.
-
She just whimpered in response.
-
"Be quiet I'm not in the mood." Alex said sitting back down on the couch.
-
Annie didn't move. "Why am I here?" she asked, just loudly enough for him to hear. "What do you want with me?"
-
"Your here because I don't trust you, and I'm still deciding one option out of 3 on what to do with you."
-
Annie didn't reply. She didn't want to know what those three options were. She shuddered, sinking to the floor hugging her knees to her chest. He's probably deciding on making me a slave or killing me or something, she thought.
-
"I should of never left you in that alley, I could've of just killed you and gotten on with my life." Alex said with his head in his hands talking more to himself then Annie.
-
Annie flinched and shrunk back into the wall at his comment.
-
"I on't even know your name." Alex said looking up and studying her.
-
"A-Annie Westley," she said, still in her curled up position against the wall.
-
"You don't really have friends do you, not to be mean or anything."
-
Tears pricked at her eyes, but she blinked them away. "N-no," she admitted.
