    Stormstar looked at her with sympathetic eyes, "relax, take a few deep breaths." Stormstar yowled for Cherryblossom. "Cloudpatch, you can still be my deputy, legs or not, and I'm sure they'll heal anyway. You got yourself all the way here, didn't you. Cloudpatch believe in yourself." Stormstar licked her fur until it was clean and blood free.

    "Oh Stormstar. I don't know what I would do without you. I truly d-don-t-t." On her last word, Cloudpatch realized how not just painful these injured hindquarters were, but also extremely tiring. "Thankyou," she managed to whisper.

    Cloudkit stepped out of the nursery for the first time and looked around the camp with his beatiful blue eyes and all of a sudden the image of his mother laying dead on the ground and shuddered away from the images.



    OCC Can i pretend that as soon as i was able to eat fresh kill my mom died which was a moon ago so i am now 4 moons.

    Stormstar smiled, "save your breath. Cherryblossom will be here any mnute now." Cherryblossom will fix her up. She'll still be my deputy no matter what!

    But what is the point? I will ever be able to lead a patrol ito battle or organize hunting patrols in the morning!"

    Cloudkit ran to the first den he saw and it was the leaders den and he ran inside after overhearing the conversation and asked them if there was a large body of water near here.

    Cherryblssom ran in with the right herbs "Yes Stormstar?" she mewed.

    "Cloudpatch needs to be treated." She used her tail to point at Cloudpatch's broken legs.

    Cherryblossom began to set the deputy's legs in place with rush and a polituce of comfrey.

    Stormstar whispered softly to Cherryblossom, to softly for her deputy to hear, "Will her legs heal?"

    "With time, hope, luck, and patience they will" Cherryblossom mewed.

    Cloudpatch wrinkled her nose in disgust as the horrible smell of herbs wafted through the entrance of the den. "Blech!" she exclaimed defiantly.

    "You don't have to eat them I just have to put them on your legs you eat this!" Cherryblossom was getting a bit frustrated and put a poppyseed by Cloudpatches nose.

    Stormstar sighed in relief and turned her head back to the young deputy, "You will listen to Cherryblossom and follow her instructions. Your legs should heal and you'll be able to go back to your duties."

    "Moonpaw I need more rushes can you get those?" Cherryblossom asked.

    Cloudkit who was being ignored after he was trying to help puffed his little chest out and stalked outside to the nursery where he was all alone yet again.

    "Thank you Moonpaw" Cherryblossom mewed and began to put them in place.
