  • Character Name:
    Heartkit -- Heartpaw -- Heartshine.

    Character Age:
    Twelve moons.

    Gender:
    She-cat.

    Alliance:
    Bloodclan.

    Rank:
    Warrior.

    Appearance:
A plain sight to behold, young Heartshine is. She is a simple brown tabby, stripes ranging from the lightest brown to the murkiest brown. A fine layer of green covers the pale under layer of brown, thus making her eyes a plain hazel that blend into her fur so well it appears that she has no eyes at all. Straight and curled at the very tip, Heartshine has fine whiskers that are only visible in direct sunlight. For this time around, her short fur is a blessing. Complete with a slim, agile figure, Heartshine is built like the average Windclanner. Her body was meant for the speed and adrenaline of a run.

Personality: Heartshine is about as brave as a butterfly. That, in her book, is the greatest compliment the world has to offer. She takes an insult and it goes through her ears and into her brain as a compliment. Some cats would consider her a little on the oddball side, but Heartshine doesn't really care all that much. Except, of course, when someone is really going at her. Although insults are usually her compliments, that isn't always the case. It really depends on who is saying it, but cats that look mean and say mean things to her register in her head clearly enough for her to bring the waterworks out. When she's upset, it's hard to uplift her spirits. Only cats who know her well enough to know what she likes know how to cheer her up. All in all, Heartshine is... different. But in a good, odd way.
    ---Likes:
    Insects, nature, and the clouds.

    --- Dislikes:
Mean cats, fighting, and being in one of her "moods."

    ---Strengths:
An excellent runner, a gentle being, good identifier of insects and plants, never obnoxious, and a decent hunter.

    ---Weaknesses (At least 3):
Being a stereotypical Bloodclanner, being brave, and taking risks.

    History:
Being the only surviving kit of her litter was tough on young Heartkit. Her mother and father always pushed her to take those last few inches. They were disappointed to discover that Heartkit didn't like fighting at all. In fact, she preferred to be one with nature and just enjoy the scenery Bloodclan has to offer her. It didn't take long for her parents to finally give up on her. And it didn't take Heartkit long to notice the suspicious behavior that her parents were portraying. Her mother would sneak out of the nursery at early dawn, accompanied by her father. Heartkit tried to follow them, but always stopped at the camp entrance and watched them. At first, Heartkit thought it was just an innocent evening stroll, that they wanted to spend time alone. When her parents came back the first few times, they looked decent enough to pass for normal. But, as the days stretched on, Heartkit noticed a few things here and there. A frantic look behind their shoulders in the safety of camp, a little limp here and there, and even a few scratches. Heartkit wasn't one to be a risk-taker, but the behavior of her parents was worrying her so much that the little kit had to do something about it. She decided to wait for the leader to appoint her an apprentice. Even if her parents were worrying her, she didn't want to break the rules.

After a few months, Heartkit finally became Heartpaw. Her mentor, at their first training session, showed her Bloodclan's territory. Heartpaw had a critical eye the entire time, searching for anything that gave clues about her parents, who were now acting more frantic than ever. Their physical conditions were getting worse and worse. Heartpaw could see it, no matter how much they tried to hide it. While her mentor was turned away, Heartpaw slithered away to an area that looked potential. It had been walked on many times. When she reached her destination, she discovered that there were recent pawprints there. Heartpaw couldn't investigate then, so she quickly darted back to her mentor and lied, saying she thought she had spotted a mouse in the bushes.

Heartpaw never did find out about what was wrong with her parents. Shortly after her apprenticeship began, they passed away due to an illness. Heartpaw gave up and never questioned their behavior again. She tried to be a normal apprentice: making friends with other cats, warriors and apprentices alike, training as hard as can be, and acting as normal as possible.

She became a warrior a few months later: Heartshine, for she had a shining heart that she spread to every creature in need. Turns out it was Heartshine herself that would need the kindness. As she was sitting at the nightly vigil, all by herself, a shadow crept out of the dens and towards her. Heartshine tensed as they approached. A tail softly brushed up against her body, beckoning her to follow. Fear jostled through her body as she followed the dark figure. It was too dark to see who it was at the time.

They lead her to the spot where her parents must have met up with this stranger. The strange cat stepped into the moonlight and revealed themselves. Heartshine gaped at the cat. It was ________! But why had they led themselves here? Heartshine soon found out as the cat began to speak. She discovered that her parents were being blackmailed by _______, who had discovered that Heartshine's mother had actually found Heartkit as an orphan on the territory. They wanted something in return for keeping Heartshine's secret. Heartshine had to do whatever they told her to do or else her true identity would be spilled.

    Roleplay Sample:
Heartshine could not sleep that night. No matter how long her eyes remained shut, the she-cat just could not fall asleep. It frustrated her so much that she softly screamed into her moss nest. Not only was it frustration, but the stress too. After a whole twelve moons of her life, Heartshine finally discovered what had been wrong with her adoptive parents. A cat had been blackmailing them, wanting something in return for keeping Heartshine's secret. She blinked away the hot tears that spilled down her cheeks. Oh, what was she going to do?

    Comments:
I plan on finding someone to play _______. Think of it like "A" in Pretty Little Liars.
