Jeez, she knows a lot about medicine, the dark silver fox thought to himself, before padding away to search. Before he wandered off he sent the warning to the two vixens once again, "Watch your step, and stay safe. We're close to the hunter's den!" With those words, he bounded away, and scanned the area for any signs of comfrey or chervil. He was sure he'd be able to find them if he looked hard enough. After wandering for a bit of ways, he scented something familiar.
The scent was sickly sweet, reeking of many blossoms that overwhelmed the animal's natural smell. It was a vixen, that much he knew. But, why did she smell so familiar? The scent tugged his heartstrings achingly. He knew he should remember it, but he couldn't quite place a name on it. The scent wasn't fresh, as it was fading, but he felt the need to follow it.
