    Thunderdawn padded silently into the clearing between Fourtrees. Her silky brown pelt glowed in the moonlight. Behind her five kits bounced at her feet. "What are we doing here mommy?" the usually boisterous Cinderkit whispered. "I wanted to show you fourtrees. It's time you see more of our world." Thunderdawn's bue eyes shown like jems. The five kits crouched behind her warily, ears and noses working furiously to figure out thier surroundings.

    Leopardheart padded To fourtrees Ivy paw right behind her. " Ivypaw we are going to see fourtrees. That is where you will go to when there are gatherings," meowed Leopardheart. " Leopardheart I smell something,like Thunderclan," hissed Ivypaw. " Hello who ever you are, what's your name?"asked Leopardheart.

    RiverClan! Thunderdawn let out a low growl. She stalked into the clearing, her jaws curled into a snarl. "Stay away from me, or you will regret it!" Her blue eyes blazed.


    "Wow! RiverClan!!!!!!" Cinderkit scampered out of the shadows and hurled herself at Ivypaw. "Stay away from ThunderClan!!!

    Velvetpaw heard yowls and hid in the bushes surrounding fourtrees. The young Windclan she-cat watched with shining eyes.

    Another kit, a black and white tom was sniffing around in the bushes. He was looking at the different plants that grew at fourtrees. Suddenly he detected a non-planty scent. A cat!!! He slipped through the bushes and came to the place the other cat was hiding. "W-what are y-you doing h-here? Sp-spying?"

    Velvetpaw jumped a little. "Uh... i was hldoing a hunting dare butttt....." she looked down into the clearing.

    Ivypaw unsheathed her claws and aimed her paw at Cinderkit face. "This isn't your territory!" hissed Leopardheart. "Ivypaw,are you ok," meowed Leopardheart. " I am fine,Leopardheart," meowed Ivypaw. " Know what do think your doing attacking us like that?" hissed Leopardheart.

    Thunderdawn leaped at Cinderkit and shoved her out of the way. She turned on Ivypaw. Her claws were unsheathed as she approached Ivypaw her nose inches away from the apprentices. "Did anycat teach you not to rip a kit's face open?!" She turned on Leopardheart. "You're her mentor? Doesn't RiverClan teach thier apprentices not to kill kits?"

    "Did anyone tell you four trees isnt your territory," hissed Leopardheart. "And Ivypaw don't try to kill a kit please. Now for doing that you have to take care of the elders den for a week," hissed Leopardheart. " ok," meowed Ivypaw

    Thunderdawn's pelt was still ruffled. "Yes, well be careful next time."


    Cloudkit's eyes opened wide with amazement. "Are you an apprentice? I'm gonna be one in a few days!" He puffed out his chest in pride.

    "cool here's a little tip always follow rules no matter what oh and my name is Ivypaw," meowed Ivypaw. "well I will probably see you at the gathering in a few days. Come on Ivypaw let's get back to camp," meowed Leopardheart.

    "Leopardheart, who are they?"asked Ivypaw. "Oh some thunderclan cats. Oh I just remembered Bearstar told me that you are invited to the next gathering," meowed Leopardheart. "Really!" meowed Ivypaw. "Yeah now let's get you to your den,"meowed Leopardheart. The two she-cats padded to the Rivercaln camp.

    Velvetpaw smiled slightly. "Yes I'm a Windclan apprentice." She told Cloudkit.

    "Wow, WindClan!!! I'm in ThunderClan!" Cloudkit finally started to really study the scent. "Hm, you smell like rabbits, dried grass, and a little bit of badger."

    Ivypaw bounded over to velvetpaw. "hello my name is Ivypaw and my mentor is Charcoalsky of Riverclan who's yours," purred Ivypaw
