"this is the best thing i have ever eaten!" he muffled around his mouthful, "thanks" he purred nuzzling her. regreting it he thought maybe this is too fast.i'll stay like this. if she pulls away then, i'll go from there

Mistypelt stepped back, too happy to notice the sudden show of affection. "I know" she said, grinning. He took a mouse for herself and started eating.

sani sat down again glad that she hadn't noticed his mistake

Mistypelt finished her mouse and quickly buried the remains. "Is there any particular place you want to see?" she asked, lifting a paw gesturing around the camp.

"um, where ever, i'm fine with wherever" he mewed admiring her georgiously groomed pelt

Mistypelt smiled "Ok. Follow me!" she said, jumping up and trotting off in the direction of the nursery.

sani followed. He scented a milky smell coming from somwhere near by. "Are there queens in there?" he mewed looking around

Mistypelt nodded "Yup... Now hush, the kits are sleeping" she said quietly, poking her head round the entrance to the den. Thistlefur looked up and smiled.

"right sorry" he whispered

Mistypelt smiled back and turned to Sani. "Come with me, I want to show you somthing" she whispered, padding off and stopping to see if he would follow.

Mistypelt cheaked no one was around, then pushed through a vine - covered rock.

"what is it" he murmured, good-naturedly

Mistypelt stepped inside the cave. A small waterfall trickled down one side. A deep pool of water glistened at the back of the cave. The air seemed still and fresh. Mistypelt sighed happily.

"it's beautiful, just like you" he mewed "oops" he mewed straight after

Mistypelt felt her face get hot. "Thanks" she said, calming her voice. "This is where I come to for some peace. Its a secret". She suddenly turned serious "You won't tell anyone, will you?

"of course not" he mewed, but he couldn't help mewing "beautiful" at the end

Mistypelt smiled shyly and then jumped into the pool, smiling as the cool water embraced her.
