Mudtail looked away from Breezewhispers. "My life's always been mysterious. Now, we should be going...wherever the mountains are. Do you know the way?" She was always curious about the mountains, and was a bit excited about going there.

"I think I do.. I think it's just by WindClan territory, near high-stones." He meowed. He flicked his tail, looking at the great stones.
-
"Then let's go," she meowed. She padded through the moor, gorse brushing against her legs. The sweet smell of heather made Mudtail feel like anything was possible. She stayed out of the way of boulders as she made her way to HighStones.
-
"Wait! It could be dangerous." He mewed, with his tail between his legs. Breezewhispers looked fearfully at her. "I'm worried.." Pfft, no you're not! You're just a coward! Words at the back of his mind formed up in his head.
-
Mudtail glanced at the tail between his legs: a sign of fear. "Lots of cats go to HighStones. We'll be fine," she reassured him. "No reason to be frightened." She quickened her pace, seeing the large stones up ahead. Breezewhispers never really struck me as someone who can get afraid of rocks, she thought.
-
He shrugged. "I guess." Breezewhispers stared at High stones, then at Mudtail.
-
Mudtail released a purr. "Don't be such a chicken," she teased, not really meaning it. She quickened her pace into a race (that rhymes!) and headed for HighStones.
-
He sighed, and raced after her, feeling the wind in his fur.
-
Mudtail couldn't help laughing as she ran. She loved the feeling of wind blowing her fur as she dashed! Her pawsteps were fleet and soon she was at HighStones.
"Alright," she panted, "now we climb."
She reached her forepaws up to the rock and pulled her hind paws up to join the rest of her tabby body. She did this until she reached the top. Then she looked down and tried to spot Breezewhispers. -
He looked at her, then at the rocks. "After you." Breezewhispers meowed smiling. His eyes were round, he he finally was about to leave clan territories.
-
Mudtail was already climbing. She reached her left forepaw up and scraped it on a rock's edge. "Stupid rock," she hissed. Even with her injury she continued onward with no complaints.
-
Breezewhispers flinched, and climbed under her. His hind paws were having trouble finding their way to each of the rocks, but otherwise, he seemed fine.
