The tunnel opened onto a room. Along the walls were empty chests and broken crates, while in the center of the room, layed a book.

"A book?" Epiphany said, slowly approaching it. She shone her tail sphere over it.

The cover was thickly covered in dust. Sol blew on it, and pulled back coughing "*cough* *chough* Man... *cough* must of been here a long time." The cover was a simple brown, no title, no author. Sol gently flipped the cover. Several pages were ripped, faded, and altogether unreadable, except for a few sentences.
'...gathered enough to finaly reach our goal. With.............. Should be able to s...... I ......doubt.....in fact I fear that we will bring doom upon us. .... Cant he see what he's doing.....'
(Several of the pages are missing, except for the last one.)
'.....curse on this land, and now..........power is growing, day by day. He grew too corupt. Fearing someone might oppose..... Hidden. But it dosnt end. He waits...'

"I don't understand any of this! What's it about, anyways?" Epiphany said after reading it.

"It means," someone said from the tunnel behind them, "that someone else was here, looking for something, and he found it."

Epiphany jumped at the voice. "Just surprised..." Epiphany said, "Someone else was here? I thought we were the only ones..."

"Who's there?" Sol called.
From the shadow of the tunnel came a Riolu. "No. We arn't the only ones. In fact, we arn't the first."

Epiphany's left foot twitched. "Whoa, I somehow had a feeling of foreboding on me for a second, then vanished."

"Sorry if I startled you," The Riolu said. "And sorry for not showing myself earlier."

"Nah, it's cool," Epiphany said, then remembered the volcano. "Except for the volcano part. That was NOT cool. Anyways, apology accepted."

"Alright." the Riolu said. "By the way, my name is Luke."

"My name is Sol." Sol said. -
"so... luke, when did you apper in this island" asked percy

"A while ago. About a week or two."

"same.... Hmmmmmm...."

"Wait," Sol said. "You said soething about someone being here before. What did you mean?"
Luke picked up the book. "Well the book is oviously old. Probably has been here for years. Also, whoever wrote it said that they 'found enough to reach their goal'. Now, what they found, I dont know, but something tells me this isnt the only clue they left." -
"Wait," Sol said. "What did you mean by someone being here before us?" Luke picked up the book. "Well, the book is oviously very old, probably a couple of years old. Also, it mentions that whoever wrote it found something, 'found enough to reach our goal'. He, or they, were looking for something. I dont know what is was, but something tells me they left plenty of clues on this island."
