Hopeflight sat on her haunches and sighed. Kits were just so troublesome! She did love them, though. Every last one.

Ashflame held Ivykit close. Tears formed in his eyes and he looked at the sky. This wasn't supposed to happen! He looked at Ivykit. "Im a horrible father." He muttered.

Ivykit,who was in the forest with Ashflame, didn't hear Cheetahkit. "Why did you fall in love with mama of all cats?" The kit asked.
