Thornrage looked at the ground sadly, her tail drooped.
Thunder looked at them and sighed."sorry Ravenwing and Thornrage."

Ravenwing looked at his dead apprentice. She had so much life. This was nt fair... he didn't feel like moving. Talking. Joking. Or being himself. He wanted to stand there till he died himself. He failed as deputy...

Spellbound pulled herself back to her paws fully. Turning her head, she scanned the area before forcing herself to the deputy. "You did not fail.. If anything, I did.. She came out her to help me.. I should have protected her.." her voice was cracking and her ears swirl to the sounds of her kits voices.
"Momma! Are you hurt?" Phantomkit squeals as he presses to her leg.
"I'm fine darling," Spellbound lies smoothly. She was trying to keep her kits calm.
"Can we keep exploring?" Mystickit mews swiftly.
"Maybe tomorrow," she answers swiftly.

Thornrage looked away from spellbound and stared at the ground.
Thunder remained quiet.

Ravenwing made a quick turn and in a hard voice, "Take the bodies back to camp."

Thornrage padded up to her apprentice and grabbed his scruff.
Thunder grabbed the second apprentice.

Ravenwing walked past the the apprentice den and stopped for a moment then entered the warriors den.

Thornrage laid her apprentice down in the middle of the camp.

Spellbound turned and padded slowly towards the camp. Stumbling and almost falling. Her pelt bloody and her body hurting. Her kits bouncing about under her as she walked.

Bonestar rushed out of his den and hurried up to Thornrage,"what happened?"
She said nothing

Ravenwing padded up to his leader, "Wolf attack, Two apprentices died." He stated bitterly.

Bonestar stared at the small cat's body and shook his head sadly.
"I'm sorry Bonestar, but we tried."Thornrage mewed quietly.
Thunder sat off to the side by fang, watching them.
"why do you have to be so big?"Fang giggled.

ravenwing dipped his head, "Please excuse me Bonestar, I need to go take a walk right now."

Bonestar nodded.
Thornrage stared at Ravenwing.

Ravenwing padded out the camp with out another word.

Bonestar looked at Thornrage and growled."gather the clan"
Thorn rage nodded and padded over to Thunder and Fang,"anybody seen Spellbound?"

Spellbound limped into view and stood their weakly looking at the cats. Her pelt clean now so her wounds could be seen. Under her, three kits wrestled. "You needed me?"

Thornrage and Bonestar padded up to Spellbound."Go see the Medicine cat Spellbound,"Bonestar instructed lightly."Ill send a patrol out to make sure that the wolf is gone.Thornrage if you can take Thunder and Fang with you.And find Ravenwing."
Thornrage nodded and padded over to Thunder and Fang and they left camp.
