She sighed,then tried to find his scent

Uhhh...
Todd ran to a stream and walked down it for a few tail-lengths then went out the otherside. Then, hopped back and and went back to the other side.

she came to the river and lost it,seeing the sun sink below the hills she took refuge in a hollowed out tree

That was pretty complex, because I think to much...
Todd watched Copper (Todd is pretty weird), always keeping her in sight.

Copper woke at the crack of dawn,beginning her hunt once more,walking downstream she searched both sides

Todd had slept in a tree overlooking the stream and the hollowed tree. He just watched Copper.

She groaned in annoyance,then she looked up to see how much light she had left,seeing the dark purple eyes she hissed in victory

Todd wasn't worried. He just put his fox suit and slide down.

she leaped towards the tree she had seen him perched in

Todd, now dressed as a fox, lurked around the as if he was watiing for prey.

She growled at the fox,the smell of Todd still in the air

The fox mewed (Like a cat).

she hissed,swinging at it

Alright lets just go back to the part when the were both cats.
Todd noticed that Copper noticed him watching her and leapt to a different tree.

Todd was fell from the tree, breaking his leg (The Rp was going nowhere).
