  • Midnightpaw sat watching the cats in her adopted clan with her bright blue eye, sitting on the edge of the camp near the apprentice den. She watched how close they all worked together and she more than anything longed to have that closeness, but she always seemed to mess up every time. she sighed and muttered "were do i belong..."

  • Snowpaw was a little bit like an outsider. Her mother was half-WindClan and half-RiverClan, and her father left both her mother and his Clan to join a tribe. She, one of their two kits, was excluded from the other apprentice groups. She didn't mind very much, though. She liked being independent, from her mother and father, to friends and mates, to crushes and kits. However, a small part of her longed for a friendship, being close to another cat, to not be alone anymore. She thought with a pang of her littermate, a loyal and caring brother, Stormpaw. He was killed by a ThunderClan warrior in a battle over territory. He had been the closest thing she had to love, to a friend. She glanced around, and, to her surprise, saw a cat sitting alone, instead of with friends, near the apprentice's den. She padded over, meowing as she did, "Hello. What's your name?"
