  • Star, a long furred silver she cat perched on a tree branch. She had become a loner after her twolegs abandoned her. Gracefully, leapt from her tree branch and landed on all four paws. Her blue eyes shined with warmth and perfect health. She had everything she could every want; a full belly, a den, food but something was missing. There was nobody here to give her love and affection. Star frowned, would anybody want to be with me?

  • Mercury padded through the unknown land. He had ran away from his two legs when they had adopted a vicious dog. His flame colored pelt was easily seen so his journey from place to place didn't stay hidden very long. Mercury was very sure a fox was following him and he knew if he didn't find a safe place to hide he would be made a tasty meal. "Keep my tail down, walk slowly,..." The handsome Tom rehearsed as he sat below a tree and began to think how to hunt. After all, hunting would keep you alive, right?

  • Shadow chased the rabbit all the way to the edge of the forest, when he spotted a glint of silver among the trees. Without hesitating, he bounded into the forest, determined to find out what the patch of silver was. He stopped in front of a tree and looked up. There was a beautiful silver she-cat perched upon the branch. Whats a cat like that doing out here? Shadow thought, the cat was well-fed and her pelt shone. Shadow leaped onto a thick branch and started to climb up. When he finally reached the top, he said "Hi, I'm Shadow."

OCC:BTW Shadow is a jet black tom with sparkling green eyes and a splash of white at the tip of his tail.

  • Murcury blinked as he saw a cat climb the tree. Maybe theirs something to eat! He thought excitedly as he grabbed the trunk and hoisted his skinny handsome self up the tree and on to a branch. And then he almost fell off. A beautiful she-cat with stunning blue eyes. Mercury stood there, wrapping his sleek tail around his paws, and stared at her with interest. "And I'm Murcury, and you are beauti- I mean what's your name?" He asked in a soothing voice.

  • She looked over in interest, her stumming eyes glittered with friendship as she padded over. "Oh hello, I'm Star." she mewed, her voice hushed and sickly sweet.

  • "The pleasure is all mine." she purred, her eyes shining with warmth. Slowly, she looked each tom over. Staring deep into their eyes and giving each an experimental nuzzle.

  • The handsome ginger tom purred as Star nuzzled him. He felt... Love for the first time. Murcury flicked has long tail along her back cautiously to show he was interested in her, and leaned his muzzle next to hers.

  • Suprised, she pulled her head back and stared into his eyes. Her heart glowed softly.

  • Murcury blinked back to reality and sat down quickly, shuffling his paws. "I'm sorry I did that. I just..." He met her gaze with his grey eyes.

  • "I um, It's er okay I guess." she stammered and looked away from his eyes, the soft fur covered her left eye quivered.

  • Murcury blinked, ashamed that he had been so stupid. The tom turned at the cats and tried to smile. "So.. Do you live with other cats? I've been living on my own for a few moons so I could show you a place to stay." He said gently with warmth.

  • "My twolegs abandoned me." she growled, flexing where her claws used to be. "I've been living in a redwood tree for the past moon or two." she mewed, licking a paw.

  • Murcury felt sympathy for Star sweep over him. He wanted to comfort her, tell her he wouldn't let a twoleg come close to her. But would he really do that, after he was a barn cat with them? "I know how you feel, they are plain stupid and don't know what they're doin'." He mewed.

  • "Yeah, who leaves a declawed cat to fend for herself in these woods!" she mewed.

  • Mucury nodded in agreement. "Do you need any company?" He blurted out, thinking of staying with this beautiful she-cat.

  • "I guess so. Two is better than one for a reason!" she purred with amusement and humor glittered in her eyes.
