    ic: Shift smiled, noticing him circle her, and added, I'm not kidding. You freaked me out so much when you turned dragon the first time I saw you - not to mention the few epic battles that were to be had, she finished, this time teasing.

    Dimeral made a little Hrrrrr in his throat, like he did when he was a little chick all the time,


    " Well.. Yeah... I'm not even an adult yet! "


    He thought, amused.

    Shift smiled, letting out a soft laugh at the weird noise Dimeral made.

    Yeah, well neither am I, so it's even.

    Though he hesitated for a moment, Zane dispersed his the electric charge and looked at Rayk who had now stepped out from the shadows. "Zane. If I may ask, what are you doing lurking around these woods?" he said.

    "Working on staying alive. What about you?" Rayk asked, arms crossed and appearing entirely at ease, the shadows at his feet stirring like mist on the wind.

    Dimeral continued circling Shift and the girl holding the boy recently being captured by Erasers,


    " Hmmph.. I'm harldy a teen, only a 108 years "


    OOC: Ommmmmg. Brother is trolling me.I'm just like " So... do you think a 108 year old dragon that is mixed with human DNA dating a 17 year old teen mixed with Avian DNA, cat, and wolf sound like a weird relashionship? " Hes just like.. " THe half Dragon could EASILY outLIVE the Avian. " I'm just like, " Aww... Shes gonna die before I even turn into an adult. " :[

    ooc: X3 That's hilarious... I never ask my family - they just look at me like I'm a lunatic. ;)

    ic: Shift grinned, shaking her head. "Sorry I asked. Wow, that's not weird at all, is it?" she asked with a smile, slowly tilting her wings down to start her descent.

    Angela and Sam started to desend with Shift, not understanding why she was grinning and shaking her head. Sam felt Angela's confusion, and he was pretty confused too. They alighted silently on the ground and waited patiently for Shift and Dimeral.

    " Why is that weird? "


    Dimeral thought, still trying to get a hold of the whole human's "Joke and not Joke" thing. His wings tilted downward as he decended quickly on the ground, back-winging to a halt, head dipping on the initial lurch forward when landing. Feeling a bit awkward while being surrounded by humans again that he hardly knew besides Shift. He took a few steps back in the small clearing, but he was the only bright white thing for miles around.

    Xena panted. The struggle of flying with the boy coupled with her wounds were taking its toll. She looked at the boy in her arms, then at the Dragon circling her. She didn't have enough charge left to light a light bulb, let alone defend herself. Her arms were getting weak and she knew she couldn't hold onto the boy much longer. She looked into the Brilliantly White dragon's eyes and silently pleaded for help.

    Shift waited for Dimeral to land before landing quickly at his side, trying not to run into him, skidding to a stumbling halt. You're a hundred and eight. I'm seventeen? Not weird? she asked with a smirk, nearly toppling over a tree's extended roots, barely catching herself on Dimeral's forepaw.
    Then she looked forward at Xena. "Ignore that... the girl needs help." She bit her lip, looking at Xena.

    Dimeral made a little rumble in his throat, equivilent to a chuckle between Shift and 'Dimmy'. He stood respectably next to Shift, paws together like a giant dog, neck arched, looking down at everyone, blinking his ice blue eyes slowly.

    Xena stared at the dragon in slight awe. She trembled slightly, not out of fear, but from pain. The adrenaline had left her body. She set the boy down. Blood trickled down her back and wings.

    Shift set a hand on Dimeral's leg before walking forward a step, hands out in the universal 'we come in peace!' gesture. "Uh... Hi. I'm Shift. That's Dimeral... We're here to help. We're not going to hurt you, okay?" she asked.

    Don't make any kind of sudden movement... They looked a little freaked, she thought to Dimeral, slightly amused by it.

    "Oh, crap, oh, crap," Shift muttered, jumping forward to look at the two bleeding Avians before turning to Dimeral and saying out loud, "Uh... Do you, by chance, mind turning human for some, er, 'hands-on' help?"
