A little white she-cat with blue eyes was padding through SunClan territory. She was walking aimlessly, with no mother and no idea where she was going.

Stonekit, who was let out to wander around with his mom, looked at the kit. "Hey mom! Maybe she can be my friend!" Stonekit squealed happily. A weary looking she-cat stepped out of the bushes. "Please Shadowsong! I would play with her everyday!" Stonekit promised. "I don't know Stonekit." Shadowsong sighed. "Why don't you guys discuss while I go and rest for a bit?" Shadowsong padded away. Stonekit turned his attention the the lost kit. "SunClan is the best Clan." He puffed out his chest. "I am going to be the best fighter!"
-
She blinked her blue eyes slowly. She liked this tom. He seemed happy. "Hello," she mewed calmly. "You seem like a good fighter already. What is SunClan?" she mewed curiously.
-
He gasped. "You don't know what SunClan is? Well, a Clan is sort of like a big family. There is several different Clans. We hunt and fight for each other. We fight Clans who cross borders or steal prey. SunClan is the best Clan." He finished breathlessly. "So, do you wanna join SunClan?"
-
Peacekit tipped her head, contemplating a moment. "Okay," she mewed. "It sounds interesting, and if it really is the best Clan, then I want to be apart of it."
-
"Yeah!" Stonekit cheered triumphant.
-
Peacekit twitched one ear, but otherwise remained unmoving. "What do I do first?"
-
"Well, first I have to show you around camp. Then you have to meet the queens. They are nice. How many moons old are you?" Stonekit cocked his head.
-
Peacekit blinked several times. Stonekit was fast. "I don't know." She licked a paw and drew it over her ear. "I'd like to see the camp, though."
-
Stonekit mewled. "Alright. I will show you the camp. Then you decide if you wanna join SunClan or not." Stonekit padded off. When he reached camp, a thorn barrier rose over his head. He walked in confidently. "Welcome to SunClan Peacekit!" He meowed, stepping away to show a huge camp. In the camp, dens stretched in every direction. Other kittens were playing on a fallen tree.
-
"Who's this?" Curieuxdrift's calico ears twitched as she padded up to the kits. The pretty she-cat's greenish-brown eyes were curiously examining Peacekit, while her nose twitched to try and determine the kit's allegiance.
-
"This is Peacekit. She met me in the forest!" Stonekit squealed. "She's going to be apprentices with me. She's joining SunClan!"
-
"Is that so?" Curieuxdrift purred and whisked her tail. "So you've talked to Coloredstar and Mountainstar about this?"
-
"No, but i'm sure they'd want Peacekit. She's nice, and sweet. She is my playmate now!" Stonekit squeaked. "Since my only brother and sister died, Peacekit can maybe be my mate!" He whispered quietly.
-
Peacekit blinked again, and nodded politely. She sat down, looking around, and wrapped her tail over her paws. "Who are Coloredstar and Mountainstar?" she asked curiously.
-
"I see." Curieuxdrift blinked, then turned to Peacekit. "They're our leaders."
-
She cocked her head. "Leaders? Do they lead you places?" She mewed curiously.
-
Curieuxdrift purred.
"I guess they could," she meowed, "but their job is to run the Clan. They give us orders, carry out ceremonies, appoint high positions, and more." -
Stonekit stood up tall. "I am nearly five moons old. I am going to be the best warrior the Clan's have ever knew!" Stonekit vowed.
-
"I'm sure you will," purred Curieuxdrift.
