    Alright. Like... Regular Romans, right? Without technology?

    Romans have technology! Without technology, they'd have no weapons or armor! They'd have no houses or aqueducts! No siege engines like catapults and trebuchets! They'd be running around, shelterless, weaponless, and naked without technology, Snow!

    Yes, but that is how they control them. The lower classes never know that they ever had access to anything else. Almost every good dypostian novel is that way.

    Let's see what everyone else thinks of this. I still think limiting technological advancement is enough. I think it would be way too cruel to limit cultural advancement as well. We're not aiming for mindlessly loyal here. We're aiming for limiting technology.

    Ok, we all live in a Roman society. There are three classes. The Upper, middle, and lower. The Upper have all sorts of amazing technology, and stufff, and the middle has limited. The lower has very little, and are pretty poor. They have old tools, and such. But, there is a rumor of an evil plan to wipe out the lower and middle classes. SO, a group of resisters gets into some labs and such and takes some technology. They start to fight against the Upper. We can play completely made up charcters or characters based off of well known characters. EX: Link, Samus, Mario, etc.

    The whole society is ruled by a rogue Chozo (my character) which is also the reason the upperclass has the technology. The technology looks like that of Tron: Legacy, except the black parts of the suits are orange like Samus's Power Suit. The Chozo himself wears a completely upgraded Power Suit in combat. His name is Wise Speaker. For those of you who don't know, this is what he looks like in his robes:

    My chracter going to be evil and might switch to good.... that right people Dj is going to be evil MWHAHAHAHAHA *cough* The orange Tron suits bothers me though....

    You can have different shades. Those who are more powerful have suits that are so dark an orange they look almost black. Those lower in the sub-caste system within the upperclass have the more ridiculous bright orange suits. But it should be orange since Chozo armor is normally orange. And since they use Chozo technology, it'll be easy to hide the extremely advanced technology of the Citadel the upperclass resides in. The Chozo make their structures out of stone and embed the circuitry in the stone. The circuitry looks like the lines of light on the Tron suits. The Chozo use extremely advanced fiber optics for power.
