You could. But I think Tony, Driftblade, and I are doing original characters.
I was thinking of putting my character in a modified Chozo power suit. One that has space between plates of armor and an Iron Man type hand cannon. Or maybe Whiplash's energy whips. Or both!
But the space would be pointless. Even a full set of Chozo Power Armor without space between the pieces of the armor doesn't inhibit movement. But I'm definitely going to make it look different from Samus's suit. Maybe I could be the leader of the upperclass, and play a Chozo who gave the upperclass the advanced tech.

You know, to make the Tron stuff look Chozo, all we need to do is make the actual suits orange rather than black. The patterns are also seen in Metroid on Chozo technology, and is even often lighted the same way. The same goes for the metal on the LightCycles, LightJets, LightFighters, and LightRunners.

It'll have to be low tech, but sure! Only the upperclass has high tech.

Low tech means primitive weapons and living conditions. Romans are low tech, for instance.
