She sighed. "Why are you so...down? Depressed."

Mask shrugged ,"I just... I don't like my clan anymore. I know I should! But, there's Greystar, a total slacker who's always gone. And there's Crookedstar, who ignores the clan members and only cares about his various mates and sl*ts." He groaned ,"I feel so excluded in that clan. I wish you were there..." He added, disapointed.
-
Sirenpaw padded closer to her friend. "...We could run. We could never stop running." It was a pitiful excuse, but she missed him too. "If it is that bad. Since when did Crookedstar get the chicks? I thought they all wanted you." She was once threatened by one for Pete's sake!
-
Mask snorted ,"Crookedstar called one of his mates a slu and she actually jumped off a cliff, WITH her kits." He mewed with a shutter. Crookedstar seemed so dirty now... so crued and vulger. He looked down in thought. What if they did just run away? And became loner's?
-
Gasping, she looked at the sky. "How could he? And, how could she kill her kits? That is the saddest story ever."
-
Mask nodded ,"I just don't think I can look at him the same now." He mewed, glaring at the ground. An idea hit him then... A very imposing idea.
-
She nodded. "Understandable."
-
Mask nodded and shuffled his paws ,"Wanna hunt together? Ya know... like old times?" He asked sheepishly.
-
Eyes glazing over, she smiled. "Of course."
-
Mask's face lit up ,"Yay!" He mewed. "Let's go." He added, sniffing the air for prey scent.
-
Sirenpaw felt like crying. "Mask...Before we hunt," She padded closer and leaned her head on his shoulder. "I missed you."
-
Mask's gaze fell, sadness flickering in his eyes. "I missed you too..." He mewed, licking her head.
-
She slightly smiled. "I knew you did."
-
After a bit of hunting, Mask turned toward Sirenpaw ,"I really gotta get going, the leaders will be angry when they find out I've been gone so long." He explained, grabbing some of the kill he had caught. "Meet'cha here later tonight." He added briskly before padding off.
-
Sirenpaw's face fell but swooped down to get her prey and padded off.
