Pack of The Darkest Night (RP thread)

Aurora's ears twitched, hearing his reply with shock at how he was just apologizing. The cream female moved her paw and looked at the dark furred male, his amber eyes a trait Daltore had gotten. "I've missed you," she finally murmured, after he'd finished speaking, "So much... And Daltore has been asking and I-" She stopped herself short and softly nuzzled him but didn't do it long, not sure if he wanted to stay distant.

Alora curled up close to Kyra, burying her muzzle in the she-wolf's fur. She didn't know what to think anymore. Kyra was truly her aunt, Aurora her mother, Daltore her brother, and some crazed stranger by the name of Zerale was her father?

Aminae sighed, "When pups are involved, one can find it very difficult to perform their duties," she said mildly, padding after Aradia. "Congratulations," she added, "On your new rank."

"Thanks," she murmured with a slight smile. "I wasn't expecting it.." she trailed off shrugging. Blue eyes looking into the deeper part of the forest for any signs of prey.

Once she stopped nuzzling he nuzzled her back "I've missed you," he spoke softly.

Aurora, hearing his reply and his mimicked affection, felt her heart soar. She flattened her ears though, "They both want nothing to do with me... You heard Alora... Saw Daltore run.." She sighed softly, "Some bonds can never be repaired, and I fear... these ones are dead or dying." She rested her head on his shoulder, gazing at the ground.

Aminae smiled, "I could tell. These things aren't usually not shocking. Despite Kiba's tolerance for rogue Jenti, he'll be a good alpha and hopefully, Kyra will too, though she tends to randomly disappear."

She chuckled at Animae's last sentence "Ah, but she always comes back, that I know," she murmured blue eyes brightening just the slightest. "I too believe Kiba will be a good alpha though he is rough around the edges..." she trailed off tilting her head slightly.

Aurora looked at Zerale, his tall form, despite her own length, making him tower over her, just the slightest. Blinking, she sighed, "I never stopped believing the you I knew would come back.... Stubborn love I suppose," she murmured. Hearing his following words, she frowned, "That's the thing though... isn't it? Looks come from parents... personality and willingness to forgive... come from oneself," she barked. "Those pups will have a heart unique to them self, if it forgives me for what I have done, that is for time to decide." The cream female stared at Zerale, aware somewhat of how scent didn't seem to cling to him, "I was serious... before... I am not scared of the Jenti... I fear the ones similar to those who took my family from me," she added quietly.

Alora sniffled, her tears ceasing after much crying and rethinking. "It's true, isn't it?... I don't belong here," she whispered fitfully, her voice shaking as her sapphire eyes stared numbly at her paws before sweeping up to look at Kyra.

Aminae nodded, "That is obvious," she replied, lightly teasing the alphas, though neither of them were with them. "I am eager to see this pup of theirs grow up," she commented, "I wasn't aware Kyra had ever been pregnant... or had the genes for cream hued fur... though that may be from her dead family."

She couldn't help but chuckle. "Yes.. it would seem that she carried that trait. I figured she ran away because she was pregnant," Aradia shrugged her blue eyes still searching. Giving out a soft sigh she added "It seems as if the prey are leaving..."

Even as she spoke her explanation he still couldn't believe that she loved him, the fact that she did was all that mattered. Once she explained what kind she was afraid of it made his ears flatten. "I'm sorry," he murmured gently.

Aminae nodded, frowning slightly that she could detect no prey. The she-wolf opened her jaws, scenting the air and when she came up with nothing, a disappointed sigh escape her maw. "What is the pack going to do without food? The young ones will starve and the elder members will wither away."

Alora looked up at Kyra, her eyes shining from remaining tears that stayed held back in her efforts to stop crying. "But.... what if the other wolves find out," she whined, "They'll... They'll stare." She blinked, she was small against even the petite Kyra, her ears flat in shame, not liking that she wasn't a 'pure' Jenti.

Aurora wanted to cry at that, "But they don't know why! They don't know Alora was dying.. She wouldn't have lasted," she whispered, her voice wavering, "I couldn't explain! She ran away and Daltore fled...." She squeezed her eyes closed, "They won't ever understand now... They'll hate me until the day I die, if not longer." His apology made her open her eyes to look at him, "I wish you'd been here.... to help me... I was so confused and worried... And I had no one to ask... No one knows me," she murmured.

Alora blinked, "It makes sense that you were a Gadje once... Aurora is and she's your sister... right?" She frowned, "Were you like me then? What happened to you," she asked, purely curious. She flattened her ears, "Sorry.... I'm being nosy..."

Aminae blinked, "Bleak? I like to say I just state the eminent," she replied without much emotion in her voice. "Moving... Those idiot Gadje will only take what land was ours as soon as we leave. We'll survive, even with little food. The Jenti I'm sure have had it tough like this before. The war was bad enough but we pulled through," she pointed out.

Aurora sighed softly, sinking to the ground beside Zerale. Staying close to him, she rested her head on her paws and closed her eyes. "If this was only just a bad dream," she muttered to herself.

"Yes, she is my sister. It's not pretty Alora and this is why I tell you it's important to control your thirst...." She trailed off unsure to tell the young pup the dangers that the Jenti provide to innocents.

He hoped that he would turn out different. Daltore shrugged his black speckled shoulders and placed an eerie smile on his maw. "I guess I don't really like fighting..." he trailed off amber eyes staring at the ground for a moment before flashing up with a bit more warmth than before. "What about you?" He asked in an attempt to change the subject.

Aminae shrugged, "I suppose they aren't much to worry over but still," she insisted, "They are ungrateful.. greedy." She sighed bitterly, "Though I suppose the Jenti can get like that too..." she trailed off, blue eyes moving towards the ground.

Aurora frowned, "Life was a hit and miss for me," she muttered sourly, "I've lost almost everything I have since the very beginning." The cream furred female looked at Zerale, "You won't leave.... will you? After tonight," she asked, her tone worried and anxious.

Alora blinked, staring at Kyra. What did her being a Jenti have to do with controlling thirst? "I controled my thirst.... I guess anger kinda distracted me though," she murmured, her voice getting quieter. "You were changed like me then.... since your sister is a Gadje and there is no reversing being a Jenti?"

IC: Alora listened, her ears flattening, "Is that why Aurora looked like she was scared of... Zerale," she asked, having to think to remember his name. The cream pup frowned, "Weren't you lonely?"

Aurora gave a sigh of relief, resting her head on her paws and closed her eyes, "Good.... I'd miss you again if you left," she murmured, ears flattening.

Aminae didn't bother to argue and when an order to follow was given, her ears perked and she padded after Aradia immediately. "Do you scent prey," she asked quietly.
