Darklight hurriedly looked away as Mistclaw turned to her. She could smell RiverClan's camp growing closer. She hoped Snowmist would make it. Just a bit further, she silently encouraged.

Darklight looked at Mistclaw once more. He could tell he really cared for his Clanmate. She shook her head. Of course he would. It made sense. They were in the same Clan. Darklight seemed to continually let herself forget that she and Mistclaw were in two different Clans. Even if there was anything there, it could not possibly work...

Why does love have to be so hard... thought Mistclaw, looking at Darklight then Snowmist.

When they reached camp her bleeding had stopped but she was badly hurt and she could hardly breath.

Darklight stopped outside RiverClan's camp. "I should wait here," she murmured, looking at Mistclaw. "I don't think your Clanmates would take kindly to me being here." She looked at her paws.

Snowmist stared at her clanmates they were staring from the entrance.

"Oh, uh, ok." he mewed, carrying Snowmist into camp.

Her clanmates gasped as she was being carried. Her white pelt stained with blood.

"Will you meet me and the border at dawn and let me know how she is?" Darklight asked quietly as he padded away.
[We could just leave Snowmist in the medicine den; we don't really have to bring the medicine cat in, neccesarily.]

He put Snowmist down in a nest in the Medicine cats den.
AT DAWN
Mistclaw was waiting at the border, wondering if she would come. -
Snowmist looked up at where she was in the med den, She got up and padded out. "Oww..." She meowed as she looked at her wounded cut.

Darklight padded toward the river. She was relieved to see that Mistclaw had come. She hoped the grey RiverClan warrior was bringing good news.
