  • "Ok" he replied, wondering if this cat, Quake, was a mage.

  • ooc: i dont get who que is. why are you in another cats body?

    time: midnight
    place: the meeting place

    ic:

Vol waited on the fire rock. There were four of these rocks. This one, was glowing a d dullish red, and was engraved with flaming trees. The others glowed blue, silver and green, and were encarved with ripples, wind and hills. Vol watched in silence for "Quake" to appear through the undergrowth.

  • OCC: It's the future, it's like Jayfeather became Jaywing, a cat of the past, Quake is Trenchstars' descendant.

Quake arrived and sat on the green coloured rock, he looked curiously at Vol.

  • Vol beckoned Quake to the green stone. she waited until he was seated before she began. "a moon before we arrived here, before the tribes merged together, shadows fell across the land. Wherever they touched, the earth would explode from nowhere. It didnt matter where they fell or what they touched, it would perish. The shadows stopped falling right before they hit the border dividing the earth and water tribes. This happened almost every night, until the tribes were less than half what they were before. The reason we have any cats left at all is because they realised that the shadows wouldnt fall on the other side of the border, so they fled there. that is why you found those steamtribe scents."

  • As Vol got deeper and deeper into her story, Quakes' eyes widened until they were practically bulging. "This is a disaster" he meowed, but surely his tribe wouldn't aprove of him letting them wander freely through their territory? Wasn't this a Steam Tribe problem? His mind was a whir of different opinions and situations as he blinked once, then twice. "I will think this over and discuss with my own tribe" he meowed, jumping off the rock.

  • Vol watched her old friend go with sorry eyes. Then, as Trench's tail disapeared into the growth, her anger boiled to the surface. They had been friends since forever! And now, when she needed him to understand the most, he turned her away as if they had never even met! This is where she got her name, her anger was hotter than a volcano's lava. As Vol returned to her camp, she realised that she had left a track of dwindling fire in her path. Just as she was about to panic, it started heavily raining, which put the flames out imedietely. Vol started to run, knowing she had to get out of the rain. She went to jump over the little river, but as she did, lightening flashed, and struck a tree. A branch fell down, and caught her tail underneath it. Vol fell back down, right into the river. It was fast flowing, but vol just about managed to stay on her paws, but that wasnt the worst of it. The water came up to vol's shoulders, and she couldnt go forwards or backwards out of the water. The pain was searing, and Vol blacked out. The last thing she remembered was her head hitting the water and going under, her tail still trapped...

  • Quake continued on his way, unaware of Vols' problem, he curled up in his nest, and woke up as Trenchstar again, back in ApocalypseClan.

  • All was peaceful. The sun was shining, not a cloud in sight. Vol yawned wide and stretched. She stood and opened her eyes to marvel at the beauty of her camp. She had missed it ever so much, and now things would go back to the way they had always been. She and Trenchstar would be friends as they always had been, she would get up at dawn and practise her fire bending as she always had done. No cat was up yet, so she crept silently to her rocky training area. She sat, and started to bend her fire. Vol noticed something different about the flames she produced. They were more gold then red, and they were shimmering with a dream-like quality. Before she could acknowledge this further, she heard a cat calling her name. Trenchstar! Vol thought. She opened her jaws to reply, but that was when she smelt a scent so unreckognisable, but familiar at the same time. As the cat came close, she recognised who it was. It was not Trenchstar. It was her mother. She was glowing white, and looked as young as the day she died. Vol was speechless. Her mother then meowed, "this is as much as can be allowed. This was all i could give you of your old life." Vol was confused as she replied "what do you mean?" her mother gestured to a pool of water. Vol looked into it and saw that she was completely different. Her fur was as red as fire itself, and, like her mother, was giving off pure white light. Understanding suddenly dawned on Vol. She shook her head, not wanting to believe it. She sprinted back to camp and ran right into Trenchstars den. She found him still sleeping. "trenchstar!" she yowled. "Trenchstar, wake up! can you hear me?" he didnt even stir. She sat down helplessly, and a soothing voice spoke behind her, "your world is no longer his. We must leave now my child." Choking back the tears, Vol stood, and went with her mother, climbing ever higher into the dawn sky...

ooc: ps, vol does not end here! im not leaving the rp!

  • I think it's about time we re-made ApocalypseClan, two members cannot keep a thread up and if it goes on much longer will be deleted anyway, also Albany, I suggest you apply for an advanced Roleplayer, so that you may post these long posts that you do xD
