Trenchstar grabbed Vols scruff and dragged her back to camp.
-
ooc: okay, thats a bit harsh, but im showing so signs of moving, and im dying, so i can let it slide.
Vol only realised that she wasnt in the rain anymore, when she fell to the floor of her Mage's den. (A sort of medicine cat den, but with absolutely no leaks, and smaller) she looked up and saw her leader standing over her with an angry and confused look on her face. ( ooc: sorry for powerplaying!) vol meowed "i recieved a message from my tribe. Something has happened, and im the only fire mage left. They want me to return to them. I have to go to them."
-
Trenchstar looked down at his deputy. "But you can't leave! Your the deputy!" He exclaimed.
-
ooc: AM I? i didnt know that! lol
ic: Vol looked up at her leader with a determined gaze. "i have to" she meowed. "this is my family were talking about! But... theres something else." vol dropped her gaze to the floor, which an apprentice had covered with new moss and straw.
-
Trenchstar looked at her curiously.
-
Vol couldnt meet Trenchstar's eyes as she meowed, "they gave me a message from your ancestors. They want you to come to them. They are certain its where you belong, but StarClan, knowing that both the deputy and the leader will be gone, dont want it, and are blocking your ancestors from you. You told me recently that you were having dreams of bushes trying to talk, but couldnt. That was them, and now they need us. Will you come with me? To the tribes where we are from?"
-
Trenchstar shook his head slowly. "I can't just leave my Clan" he meowed. "You may go if you wish"
-
Vol found new strength, pushed herself to her paws, and looked her leader straight in the eye. She hadnt realised that she was ever so slightly taller than him. Her voice was powerful but not hostile as she meowed "Trenchstar, i dont know how you came to be born as a clan cat, but i do know one thing; your family is up there. High in the latnemele mountains, four tribes who can controll the elements are in danger. Our family is in danger. I say this with all due respect, but if you want to abandon your family, find yourself a new deputy. Because i am not."
-
ooc: i just did a pack raid on a strong pack, and we won! I have sent a merge request, so now, all of their pack members will vote on wether to join our pack, and if the majority say yes, then the whole pack will join ours! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Trenchstar stood to his full hight, looking down on Vol ever so slightly. There were a million things he could think of to describe why he said what he did, but what he did say was simply; "Goodbye Vol"
-
The hurt must have shown in Vol's eyes. She and Trenchstar had been friends since she came to this clan, and now he wasnt even sticking up for their friendship. Not trusting her voice, vol simply shook her head and walked past Trenchstar. She hung her head as she looked around the camp that had become her home, and her tail made a trail in the dust. She was half hoping that Trenchstar would call out her name, asking her not to go. But he remained silent, so she walked out of the camp, and set off along the trail towards the latnemele mountains.
ooc: shal we say that cause were both elementals, we can share thoughts n dreams n stuff? like squirrelflight and leafpool, only more.....more.
-
Trenchstar watched his kithood friend walk away, just like that. He wasn't sure how he felt. Guess I best appoint a new deputy he thought.
-
Vol continued to walk away, but felt a pang of sadness as she heard Trenchstar call a clan meeting. I wonder who will be the new deputy Vol thought. She barely noticed when the ground slowly started to slope upwards, and only went to find shelter when it started raining. She wasnt in the cave for very long, as the rain turned to snow, which, due to her impressive body heat, melted and evaporated before it reached her. its a shame the rain doesnt evaporate before it reaches me. But everything must have a balance i suppose. she thought bitterly. It snowed the entire night, and when Vol finally reached the top of the mountain, she crumpled in sadness when she realised a) that she might never see her friend again, and b) that there was an entire mountain range to cross before the Fire Tribe's volcani mountain. As vol colapsed to the ground, she looked to the East of the mountains, and saw a huge grassy hill, covered with rocks, trees and wildflowers. The earth Tribe's mountain. She was forbidden to go there, so they would have to figure out that their kijn wasnt coming on their own.
-
Trenchstar leapt onto a large rock. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around the Sky Rock for a Clan meeting!" He called, and, without waiting he started to announce what he had called them for. "Vol has left us to be a tribe cat again, meaning we are without a deputy. The new deputy will be Dimspark" he said nothing more, only dipped his head to the new deputy and leapt off the rock, wondering how Vol was doing. It was a long trek throught the half-desert then over two mountains before she would get to her destination.
-
A searing pain woke up Vol. She jumped up, fangs bared, before she realised that at least 20 cats were surrounding her, three of them were carrying a giant leaf that looked like it once held water. Vol's side was drenched. An absolutely huge cat with a lily in her ear came face to face with Vol. Her eyes were as deep a green as vol's were orange. Her fur was dark grey, covered in dust, and the scent of grass clung to her pelt. The cat opened her mouth and said a single word that sounded like "kahal". Vol didnt understand, but she sure as hell did when tree roots exploded from the ground, and wrapped themselves around her paws, so that any chance of escape was completely gone. Not knowing what else to do, Vol screamed at the top of her lungs, "TRENCHSTAR! HELP ME!"
-
Trenchstars ears pricked and he stood alert. He had heard Vols cry. "Dimspark, you're in charge!" He yowled and sprinted towards the sound.
-
As soon as the cry escaped Vol's jaws, a huge paw smashed into the side of Vol's head. She fell to the floor, twisting her ankle as she fell, as the tree roots still held onto her.
-
Trenchstars large paws pounded the earth, suddenly an idea hit him. He focused his energy, so hard it hurt, and shifted the earth, the whole planet, he found hiself facing twenty cats, Vol laying unconcious on the floor, it was now night because the earth was in a different postition.
-
Vol started to come to, but she thought she must have been dreaming, because the first thing she saw when she opened her eyes was the sky changing colour iminantely, and Trenchstar appearing before her. Suddenly, everything came into focus. Vol realised she wasnt dreaming, and she was angry at these cats who had attacked her. vercome with rage, she threw fire out of herself. Even through her lava-born skin, she could feel the heat eminating from her flames. The blood rushed back into her aws as the tree branches snapped under the heat. Vol looked around, and saw a cat writhing in pain on the floor infront of her, who had been caught in the blaze. The other cats backed away slowly, but kept their eyes on Vol.
